What is a Wallhack in CS2?
Wallhack is a console command that allows players to see other players, including those of opposing teams, even if they are separated by walls or other solid objects. You can clearly see what type of advantage you can get through this. No wonder, that enabling wallhack is strictly forbidden on competitive servers, and attempting to use it with the help of some app can get your account VAC banned.
However, you can safely use wallhack in CSGO on private servers, for instance, if you are just playing with friends to have fun or want to experiment with various tricks on custom maps.
How to Enable Wallhack in CS2?
To use the wallhack command in CS2, you need to enable your console first. Then, follow these instructions:
Start a private match.
Enable cheats by typing sv_cheats 1 into the console.
Use one or several wallhack commands to make other players visible. The most common options are:
r_drawOtherModels 2 – displays outlines of all players and bots. This is the main wallhack command, and you might not need anything besides it. However, there are some advanced additions that work in a similar way.
mat_wireframe 1 – displays the outlines of the walls itself, helping you to identify places that can be shot through.
cl_ent_bbox – displays the hitboxes for the enemy targeted by your crosshair.
noclip – allows you to pass through walls.
You can disable wallhack in a similar way. Just type sv_cheats 0 into the console and then press enter.
Is CS2 Wallhacking Is Considered Cheating?
Activating wallhack commands in CS2 is strictly prohibited in competitive play. Attempting to use it, as well as sv_cheats-related commands, in Premier mode, will get you permanently banned. If your account, your inventory, and your reputation are valuable to you, do not use cheats! Do not try to circumvent anti-cheat protection with shady software that makes such promises. In addition to getting you banned, it is highly possible it will infect your computer with malware.
Instead, we advise you to enable cheats only on private servers, for example, to have fun or improve tactics. If you want to improve your understanding of the maps and player placements, use the following legitimate alternative to CS2 wallhack codes:
Watch matches of pro players in spectator mode, or record your own matches to analyze them later. Learn about player positions and movements to find out how to improve your tactics.
Practice with bots in private mode, focusing on different aspects of the game. Use custom maps for aim training and warmup.
Study each map, learn important positions for both sides and plan your actions in advance. For example, here is a fresh guide for Nuke to get the hang of it.
Learn what settings work best for you. Copy the settings of pro players or experiment on your own. Even a small difference, such as more comfortable radar or crosshair settings can give you an advantage.
What to Do if You Find Wallhack in CS2?
Remember, that using wallhack in CS2 cannot remain undetected. If you suspect that another player in a competitive match uses a wallhack or other cheat, the best course of action is to report them. You can do it from within a match:
Press TAB to open the scoreboard.
Click the player name and choose the Report option.
Choose Wall hacking from the list.
Submit the report.
If you want to submit a report after the match, you can do it in a similar way by opening the Steam profile of a cheating player.
All reports are reviewed later, and their matches can be analyzed to determine if the cheats actually were used. After the player’s behavior gets investigated, Valve can decide to ban them temporarily or permanently, depending on their previous history and the gravity of the offense.
Remember, that supporting fair competitive play is beneficial for all players! We wish you a lot of fun matches and Skin.Land is always happy to help you make them even brighter with tons of new skins and stickers!
