It’s been over two years since Dota 2 received a brand-new Arcana, and Tidehunter is breaking the drought in the most terrifying way possible. The “Maw of the Megalodon” Arcana completely transforms our favorite melon-loving leviathan into a prehistoric apex predator.
Instead of his iconic dead fish, Tidehunter now bludgeons enemies with the skeletal remains of his nemesis, Kunkka.
This Ultra-Rare drop features three distinct unlockable styles:
Maw of the Megalodon: The default, menacing blue-toned shark.
The Hammer of Maelrawn: A brutal brown-toned hammerhead shark variant.
Unfathomable Hunger: A nostalgic nod to classic Tidehunter, keeping his signature green stripes on a shark body.
Custom Effects: Valve went all out on the spell animations. Gush and Anchor Smash now leave behind flopping fish, while Kraken Shell surrounds Tidehunter in a roaring torrent of water. The best part? Ravage now summons a literal horde of sharks bursting from the ground across the entire AoE. Top it off with two new taunts, custom icons, fresh animations, voice lines, and a custom cursor pack, and this is easily one of the highest-quality Arcanas in the game.
