What Are CS2 Charms?
Charms are little dangling keychains that hang off the magazine or handle of your gun — purely cosmetic, but a fun way to personalize a loadout. So far there are four charm collections: Small Arms and Missing Link launched with the 2024 Armory update, and Dr Boom and Missing Link Community followed on October 1, 2025 — the newer pair is where most of the priciest charms live. What sends a charm's price up isn't wear or float (charms have neither) but a mix of rarity, pattern, and demand.
What Makes a Charm Expensive?
Two numbers really matter with charms: the base (floor) price — what the cheapest copy costs — and the pattern premium — the extra a rare pattern roll adds on top. Three factors feed into them:
Rarity in the capsule. The top-tier "Extraordinary" (gold) charms drop far less often than common ones, so their floor price alone can climb into the tens or hundreds.
Pattern / template — often the bigger factor. Many charms roll a random pattern (a color or effect), and for the chased ones a rare roll can be worth many times the floor.
