The Bayonet | Marble Fade is an incredibly beautiful and striking knife with a plethora of gorgeous tricolor patterns. The Bayonet is known for a rugged tactical look combined with unique pull-out animations that have been recently updated to feel considerably smoother. This knife profits from having a massive blade by displaying a well-known marble fade gradient consisting of red, blue and ice hues shimmering with a smoke-like pattern underneath. The blade is a great canvas for multiple variations of this gradient. However, among the thousand patterns there are a few elusive ones that attract all the attention from the players and skin collectors alike. In this Skin.Land guide, we will break down everything you need to know about the best Bayonet Marble Fade patterns.

Marble Fade Patterns Explained

The Marble Fade finish is known for having a beautiful mix of red, blue and gold colors, with a smoke texture flowing through the blade. While the ordinary Marble Fade pattern consists of three colors, the fan favorite called Fire & Ice, logically, consists of only red and blue. Ideally, the perfect two-tone playside should feature no hints of yellow, but these patterns are extremely rare and expensive. The lower tier patterns feature less amounts of red color, since the dominant red is the most sought-after feature the traders are usually looking for. Also, the patterns that have the slightest hints of yellow are called Fake Fire & Ice (also known as FFI) and are considered less desirable.

Another noteworthy fact is that within the Marble Fade finish family, only four knives are available with true Fire & Ice patterns with no yellow on the playside. These knives are: Bayonet, Gut Knife, Flip Knife and Karambit.

Fire & Ice Pattern Tier List

The positioning of Marble Fade paint finish is determined by its pattern index, ranging from 1 to 1000. The regular tricolor patterns are the most abundant, while the Fire & Ice are the rarest and desirable. However, there’s also a hierarchy within the Fire & Ice patterns, as they are split into tiers based on the ratio of red to blue. The most amount of red represents the higher tier, and these tiers are called “Max” tiers, where 1st Max is the True Fire & Ice.
