What Makes the Karambit Slaughter Unique
The Slaughter finish has been in the game for a while, and it’s not exactly the freshest finish out there. However, due to it being a pattern-dependent finish, you could get some unique variants with shapes like diamonds, hearts and other shapes on the blade. Also, the blade of Karambit is wide enough for the patterns to have a decent visibility, compared to many Slaughter knives on the longer side. Another notable feature of the Karambit Slaughter is that there’s a wide variety of available patterns with different shapes that players kindly give names to. In fairness, only centered Diamond patterns command solid overpay, while the majority of lower tier patterns are just a cute element you might want to have featured on the playside of your knife. Let’s take a closer look at some of the more popular and a few underrated Karambit Slaughter patterns.
Karambit Slaughter Patterns Tier List
Slaughter patterns are divided into a couple separate categories based on how they look. There are more desirable shapes that command higher overpay (such as the Diamond and Diamond & Heart), while others are just a cute addition to the game.
The Diamond Patterns

The Diamond pattern is the bread and butter and the absolute best Slaughter pattern you can get, especially if it is centered. It appears as a multi-layered symmetrical rhombus. Getting a perfectly centered Diamond pattern on a curved blade of Karambit is no easy feat.
Tier 1 Centered Diamonds: 349, 355, 948, 229
Tier 2 Diamonds: 422, 470, 677, 806, 815, 930, 333
Tier 3 Diamonds (partially visible): 367, 434, 451, 539, 790, 836, 863, 925, 997, 995, 986
The Diamond & Heart Patterns

These patterns are extremely rare and also command overpay, depending on the alignment of the elements on the blade. Usually, the Diamond is pushed to the tip of the blade, while the Heart is located near the handguard.
Diamond & Heart Patterns: 616, 845, 885, 909, 979, 174, 199
The Heart Patterns

These patterns feature a shape similar to a cartoonish depiction of the heart. Similarly to the Diamond patterns, the Heart patterns command higher value when fully visible on the playside of the blade.
Tier 1 Heart Patterns: 466, 585, 655, 689, 912, 973
Tier 2 Heart Patterns: 479, 602, 734, 979, 159, 297, 310, 330, 341
Small Heart Patterns: 532, 537, 541, 554, 603, 710, 721, 147, 854, 85, 147, 167, 188, 507
The Angel Pattern

We’re gonna be completely honest, the Karambit version of the Angel isn't the prettiest one, simply due to how cut off it looks on the blade.
Angel Patterns: 223, 983, 998
The Kitten Patterns

These patterns are a little bit more abstract than usual, featuring a silhouette with pointy triangles on top, making it look like a shadow of a kitty. If you’re into abstract feline illustrations, you might enjoy these patterns.
Kitten Patterns: 406, 533, 573, 626, 628, 667
The Dog Bone Patterns

If you’re more of a dog person, we won’t hold it against you. There’s a cool variety of patterns that feature a similar to dogbone abstract shape with a lighter outline.
Dogbone Patterns: 476, 507, 520, 526, 658, 661, 678, 705, 703, 713, 714, 723, 814, 802, 980, 991, 267
