★ Bayonet | Scorched (Well-Worn)
The ★ Bayonet | Scorched (Well-Worn) is a Covert ★ knife finish carrying a sun-dappled spray pattern that's begun to fade noticeably. Well-Worn sits second from the bottom of the wear ladder, one grade shy of the roughest look this finish reaches.
Design
The pattern itself comes from paint sprayed in a sun-dappled arrangement across the blade, and that patchwork of light and dark is what gives the finish its name. It carries the flavor line "The Phoenix is not a symbol of destruction... it's a symbol of rebirth."
★ Bayonet | Scorched (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Scorched's float runs from 0.06 up to 0.80, and Well-Worn sits well into the higher end of that range, giving the dappled paintwork a clearly faded, scuffed appearance. Even so, because this finish caps at 0.80 rather than the full 1.00, it never reaches the most extreme wear a knife can show. Well-Worn occupies the 0.38–0.45 float band.
Bayonet | Scorched Rarity
Rarity: Covert ★ — the rare special ("knife") tier that outranks every regular weapon grade a case can drop, regardless of exterior. That scarcity is set at the tier level, not by wear.
Bayonet | Scorched Case and Collection
Scorched isn't tied to a single collection — it's spread across a wide run of cases, with the CS:GO Weapon Case and the Revolver Case among the more familiar names. The rare-special tier overall pulls at roughly 0.26% per case, so most copies are bought on the market rather than unboxed fresh.
Bayonet | Scorched Patterns
Since the finish has a fixed design, the sun-dappled paint looks the same on every copy no matter the paint seed — there's no blue-gem or special pattern to chase at any wear grade, including this one. Only float and wear actually change the look.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ edition of this knife is available too, counting confirmed kills permanently and carrying that tally through every trade or sale. No Souvenir version was ever made — knives fall outside the Major-tournament souvenir packages that mint Souvenir items.
Bayonet | Scorched Price
Well-Worn sits below Field-Tested but above Battle-Scarred on Scorched's price ladder, with the finish overall remaining the most accessible entry point to this knife — still a premium item, since no knife comes cheap. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does the Bayonet Scorched look at Well-Worn?
It sits well into the higher end of the finish's 0.06–0.80 float range, giving the paintwork a clearly faded, scuffed look. Even so, since this finish caps at 0.80 rather than the full 1.00, it never reaches the most extreme wear a knife can show.
Does the Bayonet Scorched ever reach the roughest possible wear?
No — its float tops out at 0.80 instead of the full 1.00 range, so even Battle-Scarred stays a bit milder than the most beaten-up look a knife can have. Well-Worn is already showing solid wear, just not the absolute extreme.
Is Well-Worn a good value pick for the Scorched?
It's a reasonable middle ground on price — Well-Worn sits below Field-Tested but above Battle-Scarred on this finish's own price ladder, all while the finish itself remains the most accessible entry point to this knife. The dappled pattern stays identical regardless of grade, so the choice comes down to wear tolerance versus price.
