★ Nomad Knife | Safari Mesh (Battle-Scarred)
The ★ Nomad Knife | Safari Mesh (Battle-Scarred) is the most heavily worn copy of this mesh-and-cardboard finish, and the cheapest way into the design. Because the finish never reaches a full 1.00 float, even this grade avoids the absolute worst damage a knife can show.
Design
Mesh fencing and cardboard cutouts were used as stencils to build this grid-and-blotch camo across the whole knife. It carries a flavor line worth knowing: "A predator is a predator, no matter the environment."
★ Nomad Knife | Safari Mesh (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred runs 0.45–0.80 on the scale, and since the finish is capped below the maximum 1.00, this is as rough as a Safari Mesh copy ever gets — milder than a knife with an uncapped range. Expect heavy scuffing and paint loss across raised edges, with the stencil pattern doing some work to keep the design legible despite it.
Nomad Knife | Safari Mesh Rarity
Rarity here is Covert ★ — a rare special ("knife") item, the gold-tier rare drop from the cases that carry it, rather than an ordinary weapon-tier skin.
Nomad Knife | Safari Mesh Case and Collection
This finish comes from the Shattered Web Case or the Fracture Case. As with all rare special items, the pull rate from either case sits around 0.26%, a figure shared across the entire knife tier and not specific to this finish.
Nomad Knife | Safari Mesh Patterns
The Safari Mesh design is fixed across every copy — paint seed has no effect on how the mesh-and-cardboard camo lands, so there's no rare pattern or blue-gem variant to look for. Only wear and float distinguish one knife from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak version of this knife tracks confirmed kills permanently once earned, and it's available on Battle-Scarred copies just like any other grade. There's no Souvenir edition, since knives are excluded from the Major-tournament souvenir package system entirely.
Nomad Knife | Safari Mesh Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the Safari Mesh finish, the entry-level way to run this design for buyers who prioritize price over surface condition. Combined with the finish's already-accessible standing among Nomad Knife finishes, this is about as low as the cost gets. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does Battle-Scarred Safari Mesh ever look fully trashed?
Not quite — since the finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.00, Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear a knife can reach. Damage is heavy but not maximal, and the mesh pattern keeps the design somewhat legible even here.
Is Battle-Scarred a good buy for this finish?
If price is the priority, yes — it's the lowest-cost way to own the Safari Mesh design, and the stencil pattern hides wear better than a flat-color finish would. If surface condition matters more, Field-Tested or Minimal Wear offer a better look for a bit more.
What's the real difference between Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred here?
Well-Worn tops out at 0.45 float while Battle-Scarred runs from there up to 0.80, so Battle-Scarred shows noticeably more scuffing and paint loss on close inspection. Both keep the camo pattern recognizable; Battle-Scarred is simply the rougher and cheaper of the two.
