★ Skeleton Knife | Doppler Phase 4 (Minimal Wear)
The ★ Skeleton Knife | Doppler Phase 4 (Minimal Wear) is a Covert knife skin carrying the same fixed blue-over-black Doppler phase as every other copy. Minimal Wear is the only grade below Factory New this finish reaches, since the float never climbs high enough for anything worse.
Design
Phase 4 skips a painted pattern in favor of a marbled swirl, here a deep, saturated blue running across a black base - one of the most visually striking numbered phases in the Doppler line. The flavor text sums up the appeal well: "Getting lost in its color can prove fatal."
★ Skeleton Knife | Doppler Phase 4 (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
With the finish capped at a 0.08 float, Minimal Wear takes up the tail end of that range, the 0.07-0.08 band, and is the most worn grade this knife ever reaches. Even here the marbling shows only the lightest softening compared to Factory New - nothing close to the scratching seen on wider-range finishes.
Skeleton Knife | Doppler Phase 4 Rarity
This is a Covert star item - a rare special ("knife"), the gold-tier pull from its case rather than a standard weapon skin. Even before factoring in which phase lands, getting any knife at all from a case is a genuine long shot.
Skeleton Knife | Doppler Phase 4 Case and Collection
The Fever Case is where this Doppler finish comes from. Roughly 0.26% of case openings produce a rare special item of any kind - a rate shared across every knife in the pool - and the specific Doppler phase is then decided by a separate random roll.
Skeleton Knife Doppler Phases
Every copy of this finish is locked to Phase 4, and wear grade has no bearing on that - the paint-seed index simply isn't part of how Doppler works. Rarity-wise, the gem phases (Ruby, Sapphire, Black Pearl) outrank every numbered phase, but among the numbered rolls Phase 4's blue and Phase 2's pink are the two collectors chase hardest.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Because this finish is a case drop, a StatTrak™ version exists alongside the standard one, adding a kill counter that's permanent and travels with the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir edition was ever produced, since knives don't appear in the tournament souvenir packages that create Souvenir items.
Skeleton Knife | Doppler Phase 4 Price
Minimal Wear trades a touch below Factory New on this finish's own ladder, but the gap is small since both grades still fall inside a tight, near-mint float band - it remains a high-end pick priced with the knife's rarer finishes. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Minimal Wear much different from Factory New here?
Barely. Because the finish is float-capped at 0.08, the visual gap between the two grades is small - both show the blue marbling at close to full saturation. Minimal Wear is simply the lower-float band's opposite end, not a visibly worn copy.
Why doesn't this knife have a Field-Tested or worse grade?
The finish is generated with a maximum float of 0.08, well inside the Minimal Wear band's upper edge, so the game never rolls a copy worn enough to qualify for Field-Tested or beyond. Factory New and Minimal Wear are the only two grades that can exist.
Does the pattern change between Factory New and Minimal Wear?
No. The Phase 4 marbling is fixed per copy and completely independent of float or wear grade, so a Minimal Wear copy shows the exact same blue-over-black look as a Factory New one. Only the float number itself separates the two grades.
