★ StatTrak™ Bayonet | Slaughter (Field-Tested)
What the StatTrak™ counter does
The ★ StatTrak™ Bayonet | Slaughter (Field-Tested, FT) is the StatTrak™ copy of this skin — the same Covert ★ finish, the same look, with a kill counter built into the model. Under the surface sits a zebra-stripe pattern in aluminum and chrome paints of differing reflectivity, topped with a tomato red candy coat that lets bits of that base flash through. Field-Tested spans 0.15–0.38 on the float scale — the middle grade, and usually the easiest one to find on the market.
What StatTrak™ changes about the price of the Bayonet | Slaughter
What the counter tracks is confirmed kills, shown as a running total on the model itself. It is tied to the item, not to the owner, so the number follows the skin from inventory to inventory and only ever goes up. A StatTrak™ Swap Tool moves a count between two StatTrak™ items of the same type, which is as close to a reset as the game allows.
Where a StatTrak™ copy comes from
The StatTrak™ premium comes from scarcity: far fewer copies exist at the same finish and exterior. It is the finish and the float that set the figure, though — the kill count on a given copy barely moves it either way.
FAQ
This finish belongs to no single collection — it's an original knife design pulled from a wide spread of cases, including the CS:GO Weapon Case and the Revolver Case among others. StatTrak™ is settled at the drop: a copy either leaves the case with a counter or never has one, and it cannot be added afterwards.
Can the StatTrak counter on the Bayonet | Slaughter be reset?
No. The count only moves one way and stays with the item through every trade and sale. A StatTrak™ Swap Tool moves a count between two StatTrak™ items of the same type, which is as close to a reset as the game allows. It still cannot lower the number.
Does StatTrak change how the Bayonet | Slaughter looks?
No, apart from the counter on the model. The finish, the pattern and the float range are identical to the plain version, so at the same exterior the two look the same in hand.
