What the StatTrak™ counter does

The ★ StatTrak™ Navaja Knife | Safari Mesh (Minimal Wear, MW) is the StatTrak™ copy of this skin — the same Covert ★ finish, the same look, with a kill counter built into the model. Rather than a painted graphic, this finish comes from spray paint applied through mesh fencing and cardboard cutouts used as stencils, producing an irregular, layered texture across the blade. Minimal Wear covers 0.07–0.15 on the float scale, a step below Factory New, with wear that stays hard to spot at a glance.

What StatTrak™ changes about the price of the Navaja Knife | Safari Mesh

Every confirmed kill with this weapon adds one to the number printed on the model. The count lives on the item rather than the account, which is why it survives trades and sales intact — and why it can never be wound back down. A StatTrak™ Swap Tool moves a count between two StatTrak™ items of the same type, which is as close to a reset as the game allows.

Where a StatTrak™ copy comes from

Expect to pay more than for the plain version: StatTrak™ copies are much thinner on the ground at any given finish and exterior. The premium tracks the skin itself, not the counter — buyers pay for the finish and the float, and a big number adds little.

FAQ

This finish doesn't belong to one collection; both the Horizon Case and the Danger Zone Case can produce it. StatTrak™ is settled at the drop: a copy either leaves the case with a counter or never has one, and it cannot be added afterwards.

Can the StatTrak counter on the Navaja Knife | Safari Mesh be reset?

No. The count only moves one way and stays with the item through every trade and sale. A StatTrak™ Swap Tool moves a count between two StatTrak™ items of the same type, which is as close to a reset as the game allows. It still cannot lower the number.

Does StatTrak change how the Navaja Knife | Safari Mesh looks?

No, apart from the counter on the model. The finish, the pattern and the float range are identical to the plain version, so at the same exterior the two look the same in hand.
