AK-47 | Blue Laminate (Well-Worn)
The AK-47 | Blue Laminate (Well-Worn) is a Restricted rifle skin with its blue laminate finish confined to the wooden parts — stock, handguard, and grip — and bare metal elsewhere. Well-Worn is the most worn grade this skin comes in, but since wear does little to the finish, it's a cheap route to a look that's still close to the cleaner copies.
Design
Blue Laminate is a Valve finish that puts the woodwork front and center rather than the metal. Its laminate treatment sits on the stock, handguard, and grip — dark wood partially painted blue and layered with blue patterning — while the receiver, barrel, and magazine go unpainted. That gives it a restrained, almost furniture-like character, a clear break from the graphic-heavy AK finishes.
AK-47 | Blue Laminate (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Well-Worn is the highest float this skin reaches, capped at 0.40, and on this finish it mostly means the wooden parts look a shade darker than on cleaner grades. The finish doesn't develop the heavy scratching that graphic skins show at this exterior, so the blue paint and patterning stay legible. For price-first buyers, this grade delivers the same design for the least money.
AK-47 | Blue Laminate Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple-tier grade. Positioned in the middle of the standard weapon grades — one step above Mil-Spec blue and one below Classified pink — it's a solid mid-rarity pull from a case.
AK-47 | Blue Laminate Case and Collection
Part of The eSports 2013 Winter Collection, the AK-47 | Blue Laminate drops from the eSports 2013 Winter Case. A Restricted grade, it turns up roughly 15.98% of the time when the case is opened; because that case is long retired from the active drop pool, its supply is fixed, and most copies are traded on the market instead of unboxed.
AK-47 | Blue Laminate Patterns
Since the blue paint and patterning are applied the same way to the woodwork of every copy, the AK-47 | Blue Laminate has no random pattern variation — no paint seed, no "blue gem" to chase. Only wear and float separate one Blue Laminate from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ build of the AK-47 | Blue Laminate does exist, fitting a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer and more expensive drop than the standard finish, and the counter stays permanently, moving with the item on any trade or sale. What isn't available is a Souvenir version — those only come from Major-tournament packages, and this skin's case was never released as a Major souvenir drop.
AK-47 | Blue Laminate Price
Well-Worn sits at the bottom of the Blue Laminate ladder as the most worn grade the skin offers — the cheapest way into the design. Because the finish hides wear so well, it's a genuine steal for players who want the blue-on-wood look for as little as possible. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does Well-Worn actually look?
Less than the name suggests. This finish barely reacts to float, so a Well-Worn copy mainly shows a slightly darker tone on the wooden parts rather than heavy scratching. The blue paint and patterning stay recognizable, so it still reads clearly as a Blue Laminate in-game despite being the most worn grade available.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
If price is your priority, yes. Because wear does so little to this finish, Well-Worn looks close to Field-Tested for less money — the main difference is a touch more darkening on the woodwork. Field-Tested is a small step cleaner, but Well-Worn is the cheapest way to run the design.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Blue Laminate?
Its blue-on-wood palette suits a cool-toned loadout, so blue gloves are the natural match — a blue pair picks up the painted patterning on the woodwork. Neutral tan or brown wraps also work, echoing the exposed wood tones for an earthier, muted pairing.
