AK-47 | Elite Build (Battle-Scarred)
The AK-47 | Elite Build (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec rifle skin with an orange-and-gray mechanical build styled after exposed hardware, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the design, trading a clean finish for the lowest entry price — the orange accents stay readable through the damage.
Design
On Elite Build the AK wears a stripped-down mechanical look — orange and gray pieces set to resemble exposed hardware and plating rather than a painted graphic. This community design by the artist M1nDᵈᵉˢᶥᶢᶰˢ was custom painted with hydrographics and careful stenciling, then finished off with heat-transfer decals. It carries the in-game line: "Tread softly Naomi...people in your line of work aren't known for their longevity."
AK-47 | Elite Build (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the gray plating is worn thin in places. The orange accents survive as the detail that keeps the skin identifiable even at this grade. This is the roughest the Elite Build gets, and it's the trade-off you accept for the lowest price on the ladder.
AK-47 | Elite Build Rarity
Rarity comes in at Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, the entry level among the standard weapon grades a case can produce. It's the most common rarity band, which does a lot to keep the skin so affordable.
AK-47 | Elite Build Case and Collection
The finish sits in The Chroma 2 Collection and drops from the Chroma 2 Case, introduced in the April 2015 update. As the most common Mil-Spec pull — around 79.92% of the blue-tier drops — it has plentiful supply, and copies are simple to find on the market rather than needing to be unboxed.
AK-47 | Elite Build Patterns
Because the layout is fixed, Elite Build shows no random pattern variation at all — the orange-and-gray build sits the same on each copy, with no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek. Wear and float are the only differences between copies.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Yes, a StatTrak™ Elite Build exists, fitted with a confirmed-kill counter; it comes from the Chroma 2 Case as a rarer and more expensive drop than the regular skin, and the counter is permanent, kept intact through trading or selling. What doesn't exist is a Souvenir version — Souvenirs are handed out only via Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this skin has never been part of a Major drop.
AK-47 | Elite Build Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of an already budget skin — the entry-level way to run the Elite Build for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want the orange-and-gray AK for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Elite Build still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and paint loss, the orange accents and gray build keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price on an already cheap skin, not losing the look entirely.
Should I buy the Battle-Scarred Elite Build or spend a little more?
If your only goal is the cheapest possible Elite Build, Battle-Scarred wins. But because the whole skin is budget-priced, the jump to Field-Tested or Well-Worn for a noticeably cleaner finish costs very little. Grab Battle-Scarred if every cent counts; otherwise a step up is easy money for a better look.
How does the Elite Build compare in price to other AK-47 skins?
It's one of the cheapest AK-47 finishes around, sitting firmly in budget territory thanks to its common Mil-Spec rarity and steady Chroma 2 Case supply. Where many AK skins run into premium or grail-tier money, Elite Build lets players run a distinctive orange-and-gray rifle for very little across every wear.
