AK-47 | First Class (Field-Tested)
The AK-47 | First Class (Field-Tested) is a Restricted-grade rifle skin with green leather wrapping, a brown grip, and a plain metal receiver in green-and-brown tones. Field-Tested is the most common and most affordable clean-looking way to own it — it shows honest handling on the leather while the overall design stays clearly intact.
Design
The First Class finish takes a minimalist travel angle, drawing on luxury-cabin styling. Green leather covers the handguard and buttstock — stamped with a small military-style emblem — while the brown grip and a bare, unpainted metal receiver fill out its green-and-brown look. It's a Valve creation, complete with a cheeky in-game caption: "Mimosa not included."
AK-47 | First Class (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
At Field-Tested the finish shows visible wear on the leather edges and light scuffing across the receiver, but the muted green-and-brown base takes it in stride and never looks trashed. The emblem and wrapping stay readable, so the skin keeps its identity. This is the grade most buyers settle on — a fair trade of a little wear for a noticeably friendlier price.
AK-47 | First Class Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier. Positioned midway through the standard weapon grades — above Mil-Spec blue, below Classified pink — it marks a definite step up from the common finishes while stopping short of the top-tier drops.
AK-47 | First Class Case and Collection
Part of The Baggage Collection, the AK-47 | First Class debuted with Operation Breakout back in July 2014. Rather than coming from a weapon case, these skins dropped in-game, and with the collection retired from rotation for years now, supply stays essentially locked — most examples circulate on the market instead of dropping new.
AK-47 | First Class Patterns
The AK-47 | First Class carries no pattern randomness: the leather wrapping, emblem, and bare receiver appear the same on every single copy, leaving no paint seed or blue-gem to chase. What differs between copies comes down to wear and float alone.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak AK-47 | First Class — those counter variants are only produced for weapon-case skins, and First Class is a collection skin, so none exists. There's likewise no Souvenir edition: Souvenir weapons drop only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Baggage Collection has never been part of a Major.
AK-47 | First Class Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping the design fully recognizable, which is why it's the grade most players actually buy. It sits comfortably in the mid-priced band of the AK-47 lineup, so it won't stretch a loadout budget. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does Field-Tested look?
Moderately, but not badly. You'll see wear along the leather edges and light scuffing on the receiver, though the muted green-and-brown tones keep it from looking beaten up. At normal playing distance the wrapping and emblem still read clearly, so the skin holds its look while costing less than the cleaner grades.
Is Field-Tested the best value AK-47 | First Class?
For most buyers, yes. It's noticeably cheaper than Minimal Wear yet keeps the whole design legible, and it's the most common exterior on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred cost less again if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier scuffing on the leather.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | First Class?
Its green-and-brown palette suits an earthy, muted loadout, so olive, tan, or brown gloves pull the colors together nicely. Green leather-look wraps echo the stock, while a tan or khaki pair picks up the grip — either keeps the understated, natural vibe intact instead of fighting it.
