AK-47 | Gold Arabesque (Field-Tested)
The AK-47 | Gold Arabesque (Field-Tested) is a Covert rifle skin with an intricate, hand-painted gold arabesque and filigree over a black body, here with a touch of honest wear. It's a more attainable route into a grail-tier gold AK, keeping the ornate design at a lower entry point than the cleaner grades.
Design
This is a Valve finish that treats the AK-47 like jewelry: gold metalwork threaded with delicate filigree over a black body, an intricate, hand-painted look that trades typical military camo for something far more ornate. Its in-game flavor line reads: "What other tricks does Booth have up his sleeve?"
AK-47 | Gold Arabesque (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
At Field-Tested the finish picks up light scratching along the edges and high-contact areas, where the gold thins and the darker base shows through. The core filigree pattern stays readable, so the skin keeps its luxe character at a glance. This is the grade to look at if you want the Gold Arabesque design in a loadout without stretching to the top-float prices.
AK-47 | Gold Arabesque Rarity
Covert is the rarity here: the red tier, as high as a standard weapon skin's rarity goes. It's the scarcest grade in its collection and the toughest to pull, which goes a long way toward explaining its standing.
AK-47 | Gold Arabesque Case and Collection
The Gold Arabesque comes from The 2021 Dust 2 Collection, launched with Operation Riptide in September 2021. It's Souvenir-only: copies drop from Dust II Souvenir Packages given out during Majors, starting with the Stockholm 2021 Dust II Souvenir Package. At roughly a 0.64% Covert drop rate, supply stays minuscule and most copies trade on the open market.
AK-47 | Gold Arabesque Patterns
Every Gold Arabesque wears its gold-and-filigree pattern the same way; there's no randomized layout, so hunting a paint seed or "blue gem" gets you nowhere. Only float, wear, and Souvenir status distinguish one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a Souvenir version of the Gold Arabesque — dropping from Major-tournament Dust II packages with commemorative stickers and gold text, it's the collectible form of the finish. A StatTrak version, however, doesn't exist: StatTrak comes only from Weapon Cases, and this skin never appeared in one, living entirely inside souvenir packages, so no kill-counter variant was ever made.
AK-47 | Gold Arabesque Price
Field-Tested sits in the middle of the finish's ladder — below the near-pristine grades but with a good deal of the same visual punch. It's the more approachable way into a high-end, grail-tier skin, though "approachable" here is relative given how scarce the Souvenir-origin Covert is. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does Field-Tested look?
Moderately. Expect visible scratching on the edges and high-wear spots where the gold thins, more than Minimal Wear but well short of the heavy battering of the lowest grades. The intricate filigree at the center stays clear, so a Field-Tested copy still reads unmistakably as a Gold Arabesque in-game.
Is Field-Tested a good way to buy the Gold Arabesque?
For buyers who want the design without top-grade money, yes. Field-Tested costs less than the cleaner grades while keeping the pattern legible, so it's a sensible middle ground. Just remember it's still a scarce Souvenir-origin Covert, so even this grade sits at a serious price rather than a casual one.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Gold Arabesque?
Its gold-and-black palette suits a rich, luxe loadout, so black gloves with gold or tan detailing tie it together best — think dark wraps that echo the body while a warm accent picks up the filigree. Keeping the rest of the kit dark lets the gold do the talking rather than fighting it.
