AK-47 | Jaguar (Battle-Scarred)

The AK-47 | Jaguar (Battle-Scarred) is a Covert rifle skin with a panther motif over a tiger-camo background on a brown base, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into a coveted Covert AK design, trading pristine looks for the lowest entry price.

Design

This is a Valve-crafted finish: a panther placed over a tiger-camo background on a warm brown base. Where many AKs go graphic-heavy, Jaguar leans into an animal-styled, exotic big-cat theme, and that distinctiveness earns it its own place in the lineup.

AK-47 | Jaguar (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the paint is worn thin in places. The panther and tiger-camo artwork survives as the anchor that keeps the skin recognizable. Because the finish runs the full float range, Battle-Scarred copies reach the roughest end of the scale, so this is where wear is most pronounced.

AK-47 | Jaguar Rarity

The rarity is Covert, the red tier — the top grade for a standard weapon skin. Covert finishes are the rarest pulls their case offers, and that puts the Jaguar among the most sought-after AK-47 skins from its era.

AK-47 | Jaguar Case and Collection

Part of The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, the Jaguar drops from the eSports 2014 Summer Case that released in July 2014. The Covert tier as a whole drops about 0.64% of the time from the case, and with the case long gone from the active drop pool, supply is fixed, so most copies change hands on the market rather than being unboxed.

AK-47 | Jaguar Patterns

Because the Jaguar uses a fixed design, the panther and tiger-camo artwork sits the same way on every unit, leaving no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. Wear and float are the only differences between copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also get a StatTrak™ AK-47 | Jaguar that adds a confirmed-kill counter; it drops from the eSports 2014 Summer Case as a rarer, costlier pull than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, carrying over when the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir version, though — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Jaguar's case was never part of a Major drop.

AK-47 | Jaguar Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run a Covert AK for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want the exotic panther design for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Jaguar still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the tiger-camo background and panther motif keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price on a Covert skin, not losing the look entirely.

Why is the Battle-Scarred Jaguar so much cheaper?

It carries the most wear of any grade, so the finish shows heavy scratching and paint loss that the cleaner exteriors don't. That drop in condition is exactly what pulls the price to the bottom of the Jaguar ladder, making it the most affordable route to owning this Covert AK.

Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Jaguar?

Its warm brown base and animal-print theme suit an earthy loadout, so brown, tan, or khaki gloves work best and echo the tiger-camo tones. Neutral leather-look wraps keep the exotic feel intact without fighting the panther artwork for attention.
