AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge (Well-Worn)
The AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge (Well-Worn) is a Classified rifle skin with a wine-and-white base, gold accents, and ornate art-nouveau patterning, here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper route into an elegant AK design, with wear that shows more openly on the skin's light surface.
Design
Nouveau Rouge finishes the AK-47 in a wine and white base with gold accents, its flowing art-nouveau patterning treating the rifle as an ornamental, gallery-piece object more than a tactical tool. Valve made the design in-house, and it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Don't look at it that way—it's an art piece, not a tool for violence."
AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint thinning across the magazine, receiver, and edges, and on this pale base that wear stands out more than it would on a dark skin. The gold accents and wine tones still anchor the look and keep it recognizable, but there's no hiding that this is a worn grade. For players who care about price over a pristine surface, it delivers the same design for less.
AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge Rarity
Rarity: Classified — a pink-tier grade one step down from the top of the standard weapon rankings, directly below Covert. It's a genuinely uncommon grade to land, rarer than the Mil-Spec and Restricted skins beneath it.
AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge Case and Collection
The AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge sits in The Radiant Collection and comes as a collection drop, not from a weapon case, which means copies arrive via in-game drops and trade-up contracts instead of case openings. As a Classified it ranks among the rarer grades in its collection, and that keeps supply tighter than the lower tiers.
AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge Patterns
Every AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge shares the same wine, white, and gold design, placed identically from copy to copy, so there's no random pattern, paint seed, or "blue gem" to chase. Wear and float are the only things separating one from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's no StatTrak edition of this skin, because StatTrak weapons are produced only inside weapon cases and Nouveau Rouge isn't part of any case. A Souvenir edition doesn't exist either — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Radiant Collection has never been a Major drop. Every Nouveau Rouge in circulation is a standard copy.
AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the price ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. As an affordable mid-tier AK to begin with, Nouveau Rouge is cheap to own at this grade. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Nouveau Rouge actually look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and paint thinning on the magazine and around the edges, and because the base is light, that wear reads more openly than on a dark skin — more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred. The gold accents and wine tones keep it recognizable, so it still clearly reads as Nouveau Rouge in a match.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is your priority. Field-Tested looks cleaner for a modest step up in cost, and on this pale finish the extra wear at Well-Worn is fairly visible, so most buyers prefer Field-Tested. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Nouveau Rouge?
Its wine-red, white, and gold palette suits a warm, ornate loadout, so red or cream gloves with gold or tan tones tie in best — a deep-red pair echoes the wine base while lighter wraps pick up the white and gold. It pairs naturally with other elegant, warm-toned pieces rather than cold blue or neon skins.
