AK-47 | Vulcan (Field-Tested)

AK-47 | Vulcan (Field-Tested)

The AK-47 | Vulcan (Field-Tested) is a Covert rifle skin with a sleek, sports-inspired finish in blue, white, and gunmetal black. Field-Tested is the most common and accessible way into this grail-tier AK — a touch of honest wear on the body, for well below the cleaner grades.

Design

A community design from the artist jim´s, Vulcan pairs bold blue and white panels with a gunmetal-black body for a sleek, sports-inspired finish that favors precise geometry over cluttered graphics. Its motif leans on mechanical, industrial cues dressed up in a modern, almost racing-livery style — and the payoff is one of the sleekest looks any AK can wear.

AK-47 | Vulcan (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

At Field-Tested the skin sits in the 0.15–0.38 float band and picks up visible scratching along the edges, the magazine, and the receiver, where the paint thins out. The blue and white panels stay clearly readable, so the design keeps its identity even with the wear. This is the most-traded grade of the skin, the value sweet spot between price and looks.

AK-47 | Vulcan Rarity

Rarity: Covert. The red tier sits at the top of the standard weapon grades, one step above Classified, and pulling a Covert from a case is among the rarest outcomes there is — a big reason the Vulcan enjoys the reputation it has.

AK-47 | Vulcan Case and Collection

The AK-47 | Vulcan sits in The Huntsman Collection and is unboxed from the Huntsman Weapon Case, released alongside the "The Hunt Begins" update in May 2014. The Covert tier as a whole hits roughly 0.64% per case open, and with the Huntsman Case pulled from the active drop pool years back, supply no longer grows — the bulk of copies move on the market instead of coming fresh from a case.

AK-47 | Vulcan Patterns

The AK-47 | Vulcan carries no random pattern variation; the blue-and-white layout is placed the same way on each copy, meaning there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Since wear and float are all that separate one from the next, the purchase stays simple — settle on a condition and there are no surprises.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ AK-47 | Vulcan is available, adding a confirmed-kill counter; it drops more rarely and costs more than the standard skin, and its counter is permanent, staying with the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir version was ever made — Souvenir weapons only come out of Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Huntsman Collection has never featured as a Major drop.

AK-47 | Vulcan Price

Field-Tested is the value entry point to the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear and Factory New while keeping the full blue-and-white look, which is why it's the most popular grade to buy. It's still a high-end AK finish, but Field-Tested is the most wallet-friendly way to run a real Vulcan. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Vulcan look worn?

A little. Field-Tested shows scratching on the edges, magazine, and receiver where the paint wears thin, but the bold blue and white panels keep the design clearly recognizable at a glance. It's not pristine like the cleaner grades, yet it still reads as a sharp, sporty AK in-game — which is why it's the most-bought condition.

Is Field-Tested the best value AK-47 | Vulcan?

For most buyers, yes. It's the cheapest of the cleaner grades while still showing the full design, so you get the iconic Vulcan look without Factory New or Minimal Wear pricing. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred cost less again if you don't mind heavier scuffing, but Field-Tested is the popular balance point.

Which gloves go with the AK-47 | Vulcan?

Its blue-and-white palette suits a cool-toned loadout, so blue, white, or gray gloves work best — a blue pair echoes the panels while white or gray wraps keep the cool, sporty vibe. Pairing it with other blue or gunmetal skins pulls the whole loadout into a tight, coordinated look.
