AK-47 | Wintergreen (Battle-Scarred)
The AK-47 | Wintergreen (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec rifle skin with a dark brown stock and handguard beside a solid green receiver, grip, and barrel, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the two-tone Wintergreen design, trading a clean finish for the lowest entry price.
Design
Two colors define the look — a solid green receiver, grip, and barrel paired with a dark brown buttstock and handguard. The result is a neat, military-styled two-tone finish that comes stamped with the line "Envy is a trait of the weak."
AK-47 | Wintergreen (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the green is worn thin in places where the metal shows through. The dark brown stock looks rough and faded too. This finish is float-capped at 0.75, so it never reaches the extreme end of the scale, and the Wintergreen stays legible even at its roughest.
AK-47 | Wintergreen Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — sitting at the blue tier, the base grade for standard weapon skins. It's the most common of the colored rarities, and that abundance is what makes the finish so affordable and easy to source.
AK-47 | Wintergreen Case and Collection
Wintergreen is one of the Mil-Spec (blue) skins in The Boreal Collection, which lands it on the collection's most common tier. Supply is plentiful and copies appear readily as a result, and picking one up on the market beats chasing it as a drop for most players.
AK-47 | Wintergreen Patterns
Wintergreen has no random pattern to speak of — the placement of the green and dark brown is fixed on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Only wear and float tell two copies apart. As a collection drop rather than a weapon-case item, it comes to players via in-game drops and trade-up contracts.
AK-47 | Wintergreen StatTrak & Souvenir
You'll only find Wintergreen as a standard finish; there's no StatTrak edition and therefore no kill-counter copy. StatTrak is generated from cases, and as a collection skin Wintergreen falls outside that. There's no Souvenir version either, since Souvenir weapons are limited to Major-tournament packages, and The Boreal Collection has never been part of one.
AK-47 | Wintergreen Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the Wintergreen design for players who care more about the look than the condition. On a finish that's already budget-priced across the board, this is as low as the cost of entry goes. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Wintergreen still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the solid green body and dark brown stock keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the two-tone look entirely — the color split still comes through even at this grade.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Wintergreen look fully trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.75 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. The bold green also keeps enough presence that the skin stays legible, so a Battle-Scarred Wintergreen looks worn but still clearly holds its color and shape.
Which wear offers the best value for the AK-47 | Wintergreen?
Field-Tested tends to be the sweet spot — it keeps the green-and-brown color split looking sharp while costing meaningfully less than Minimal Wear or Factory New. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred shave the price further but bring more visible scuffing. Since the whole finish is already budget-priced, the choice mostly comes down to how much surface wear you're comfortable with.
