The AUG | Signal Scanner (Minimal Wear) carries the same recon-styled design just past its sharpest Factory New state. It still shows the multicolored accents clearly, at a slightly lower cost than the top grade.

Design

RipSkins, a community artist, built this finish to look like specialized monitoring gear, mixing multicolored accents into a matte black shell. It fits the intelligence theme running through The Spy Tech Collection and ships with the line: "> Attempting to reconnect ... ... ..."

AUG | Signal Scanner (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

Within the finish's full 0.00 to 1.00 float range, Minimal Wear lands just above the Factory New floor. The black base still looks clean at this grade, with only faint, hard-to-spot wear starting to appear under close inspection.

AUG | Signal Scanner Rarity

This is a Mil-Spec Grade finish, the blue tier that most weapon-collection skins share, ranked below Restricted, Classified, and Covert. It's a common tier to come across.

Is Minimal Wear much different from Factory New?

Not visually. Both grades sit near the bottom of the float scale, so the multicolored accents and black base look almost identical between them. Minimal Wear is typically the more budget-friendly of the two without giving up much appearance.

Why doesn't the AUG | Signal Scanner have an established price yet?

It's a very recent addition, released with the July 2026 Armory / Season 5 update, so the market hasn't had time to settle into a clear price tier. That will typically firm up as more copies trade hands.

Is there a Souvenir Signal Scanner?

No. This finish exists only in its regular form, with no StatTrak or Souvenir editions. Souvenir copies require a Major-tournament package, and the Signal Scanner has never appeared in one.
