AWP | Capillary (Well-Worn)
The AWP | Capillary (Well-Worn) is a Mil-Spec sniper rifle skin whose teal and coral capillary veins now carry heavier wear across the frame. It's a cheaper route into the finish for players who care about the color and pattern more than a flawless surface.
Design
Underneath the scuffing is a design by community artist M03H — teal and coral lines branching across the AWP in an organic, capillary-like network. Cool blue tones dominate while warm coral threads cut through them, giving the rifle an abstract, biological character that has little in common with its usual dragon and camo skins.
AWP | Capillary (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
On a float scale that tops out at 0.70, Well-Worn sits high, so wear is pronounced: scratches and paint loss spread across the barrel, stock, and scope housing, and the teal noticeably fades. The coral branching still anchors the look and keeps it recognizable, but there's no pretending the surface is fresh — this is a worn grade, priced for players chasing the design cheaply.
AWP | Capillary Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, marked by the blue tier. Positioned above Industrial and below Restricted among the standard cosmetic grades, it's the most frequently unboxed tier — which is a big part of why these skins remain inexpensive.
AWP | Capillary Case and Collection
This skin is a member of The Prisma 2 Collection and is pulled from the Prisma 2 Case, released back on March 31, 2020. Because the Mil-Spec tier makes up around 80% of a case's drops — a rate shared across all the skins in the tier — blue-grade finishes like Capillary are the ordinary, everyday reward from opening it.
AWP | Capillary Patterns
No paint seed matters here: the teal-and-coral vein arrangement is identical on every copy, so the finish carries no random pattern variation and no "blue gem" worth seeking out. Copies differ from one another purely by their wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Capillary is out there too, bringing a confirmed-kill counter with it; it's a rarer and more expensive drop than the standard skin, and its counter is permanent, carried over each time the item is traded or sold. No Souvenir edition was ever produced, since Souvenir weapons originate only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Prisma 2 Case wasn't distributed as one.
AWP | Capillary Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of this finish's ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a low-cost way to run the design if you don't mind visible wear. On a finish that's already a budget AWP, it's one of the cheapest ways to get the teal-and-coral look into your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How much wear shows at Well-Worn?
Quite a bit. Expect clear scratches and paint loss on the barrel, stock, and around the scope, plus a visibly faded teal. It sits between Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred, so it's rougher than the mid grade but not the most battered the skin gets. The coral veins keep it identifiable as Capillary regardless.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is the deciding factor. Field-Tested looks meaningfully fresher for a fairly small step up in cost, so most buyers lean that way. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Capillary design as cheaply as possible but still prefer it over the heavy battering of a Battle-Scarred copy.
Can I get Capillary through a trade-up?
Yes. As a Mil-Spec finish it can come out of a trade-up fed with the right Industrial-grade inputs, or straight from the Prisma 2 Case. That said, trade-up outputs land on random floats, so if you specifically want a Well-Worn copy, buying the exact wear on the market is the more reliable path.
