AWP | CMYK (Field-Tested)

AWP | CMYK (Field-Tested)

The AWP | CMYK (Field-Tested) is a Covert sniper skin with a white base and a multicolored abstract print built from the cyan, magenta, yellow, and black of the CMYK palette. Field-Tested is the most common and affordable way to own it, with honest wear the busy artwork mostly carries off.

Design

The look is pure graphic design: a plain white base beneath a dense, abstract composition made from the four CMYK process colors — cyan, magenta, yellow, and black — the inks a printer stacks to build every other color. Valve crafted the finish for an artistic, gallery-poster feel, and it comes with a fitting in-game note: "I knew you'd return; I just didn't expect it to be so soon..."

AWP | CMYK (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

At Field-Tested the finish picks up visible scratching along the edges and the scope rail, and because the base is white that wear shows more plainly than it would on a dark skin. Even so, the riot of process color keeps the eye on the artwork rather than the scuffing, so most copies still look striking in-game. The colors themselves are unaffected by float. This is the grade most players picture — the balance point between looks and price.

AWP | CMYK Rarity

Rarity: Covert — the red grade, ranked at the top of the standard weapon tiers and above Classified. On the AWP nothing standard sits higher, which makes it a genuinely rare finish to come by.

AWP | CMYK Case and Collection

CMYK sits in The Graphic Design Collection. As the rarest tier, Covert surfaces only about 0.64% of the time, so the supply that exists is limited — and with drops that scarce, the market is where the vast majority of copies actually change hands.

AWP | CMYK Patterns

CMYK carries a fixed pattern: the abstract print lands the same way on every copy, which means no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. What tells one copy from the next is simply its wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You won't find a StatTrak CMYK — the counter is created only when a skin is unboxed from a weapon case, and that variant of this finish was never made. A Souvenir edition is missing for a different mechanism: Souvenir weapons are issued exclusively through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish has never featured at a Major.

AWP | CMYK Price

Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while the bold print keeps looking loud, which is a big part of why it's the most traded condition. It still carries a high-end, grail-tier price, but this is the finish at its most accessible without dropping into heavy wear. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested CMYK look worn?

On close inspection, yes — the white base means edge scratches and light grime read more openly than they would on a dark skin. From a normal distance, though, the busy process-color artwork pulls the focus and the rifle still looks bold. It's the reason Field-Tested is the go-to grade: most of the visual punch for a fraction of the top-grade cost.

Is Field-Tested the best value CMYK?

For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear and Factory New while the dense artwork keeps it looking vibrant, and it's the most common grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier, more visible wear on the pale base.

Is CMYK flashy enough to stand out?

Very. The white canvas and full spread of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black give it a loud, unmistakable silhouette that reads clearly on the AWP even mid-round. Few sniper finishes lean this hard into pure color, which is a big reason it holds grail-tier appeal among collectors.
