AWP | Exoskeleton (Minimal Wear)

AWP | Exoskeleton (Minimal Wear)

The AWP | Exoskeleton (Minimal Wear) is a Restricted sniper skin whose gray-blue metal body is carved with interlocking bones and skulls. Minimal Wear keeps that engraving looking almost untouched while costing a step less than the top grade.

Design

At its core the finish is a dark gray, gray-blue metal body worked over with an ornate engraving of interlocking bones and skulls, the receiver centered on a single skull of an unknown creature. It's a near-monochrome, deliberately macabre look that trades color for carved depth. The community artist Rozzy created it, and it ships with a fitting caption: "Full tilt."

AWP | Exoskeleton (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

At Minimal Wear the metal takes on only the faintest abrasion, usually along the scope housing and the sharper edges of the frame, and the uniform gray body absorbs most of it so the engraving stays fully readable at a glance. Because the finish hides light wear this well, this grade looks close to top condition for a noticeably lower outlay. It's the value-minded route to a near-mint copy of the carving.

AWP | Exoskeleton Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple grade. It sits above Mil-Spec and below Classified in the weapon-skin ladder — a mid-table tier that pulls less often than the blue Mil-Spec skins but far more readily than the pink Classified and red Covert finishes.

AWP | Exoskeleton Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Operation Broken Fang Collection and comes out of the Operation Broken Fang Case, which launched alongside Operation Broken Fang in December 2020. Across the case the Restricted tier pulls at roughly 16% (an odds figure shared among the tier's skins rather than tied to this one), so it's a fairly attainable grade, and most copies are bought on the market rather than unboxed.

AWP | Exoskeleton Patterns

There's no random pattern roll on the Exoskeleton — the bone-and-skull engraving lands identically on every copy, so no paint seed or blue gem is worth hunting. The only things that separate one unit from the next are wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There is a StatTrak™ Exoskeleton, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it drops more rarely and costs more than the standard skin, and its counter is permanent, staying with the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir version was ever made — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Broken Fang Collection has never been a Major drop.

AWP | Exoskeleton Price

Minimal Wear sits just under Factory New on the skin's price ladder while looking nearly identical thanks to the wear-hiding gray body, which makes it the sensible pick for most buyers. As a budget AWP finish, the whole range stays affordable. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Minimal Wear Exoskeleton look worn?

Barely. The uniform gray metal body masks light abrasion unusually well, so a Minimal Wear copy reads as near-mint to most eyes, with only faint scuffing on the scope and edges under close inspection. The carved bones and skulls aren't lost at all, so the finish's signature ornament stands out just as it does at the top grade.

Is Minimal Wear the best value Exoskeleton?

For many buyers, yes. It costs less than Factory New but looks almost the same because the gray body hides small marks, and the engraving stays fully legible. Field-Tested and the lower grades are cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind more visible wear across the metal.

Does the AWP | Exoskeleton have a StatTrak version?

Yes. A StatTrak™ Exoskeleton exists and drops from the Operation Broken Fang Case as a rarer, pricier pull than the standard skin. Its confirmed-kill counter is permanent and carries over through trades and sales, giving buyers who want a tracked AWP an affordable option within this already budget-friendly finish.
