AWP | Exothermic (Well-Worn)
The AWP | Exothermic (Well-Worn) is a Restricted sniper skin with a red-colored explosive burst pattern, here in a more battered state. It's a cheaper way into an eye-catching AWP finish, with wear the loud graphic still partly distracts from.
Design
At its core the finish is a red explosive burst laid over the rifle — a fiery blast-in-progress motif that trades fine detail for raw heat and energy. It carries a caption that leans into the joke: "Cool guys don't look at explosions."
AWP | Exothermic (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the body and around the scope, and there's no pretending this is a fresh copy. The red burst stays the anchor that keeps the skin readable, though. For players who care more about price than a spotless surface, it delivers the recognizable blast for less.
AWP | Exothermic Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier — a mid-ladder grade that sits directly above Mil-Spec and one step under Classified. Landing one is more likely than pulling a top-tier skin, but it still ranks above the common blue drops beneath it.
AWP | Exothermic Case and Collection
Exothermic sits in The Harlequin Collection, which has no associated weapon case. Because of that, the skin reaches players through collection drops and trade-up contracts instead of unboxing, so supply stays capped and the market handles most of the trading.
AWP | Exothermic Patterns
No random pattern variation applies to Exothermic — the red burst is placed the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or blue gem to seek out. That leaves wear and float as the only things separating one unit from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak version of this skin. StatTrak is added only to finishes that drop from weapon cases, and this burst comes through a collection rather than a case, so no counter edition was ever created. There's likewise no Souvenir variant, as Souvenir weapons are issued solely via Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Harlequin Collection was never a Major drop.
AWP | Exothermic Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget route to the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It's one of the cheaper ways to get the red-blast AWP into your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does the Well-Worn copy look?
Fairly rough. Expect obvious scratches and paint thinning across the body and scope — more than Field-Tested but short of the full battering of Battle-Scarred. The red burst keeps the skin recognizable and draws the eye off the damage, so it still reads clearly as Exothermic on the server.
Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?
Mainly if price leads your decision. Field-Tested looks distinctly tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the explosive design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way down to Battle-Scarred.
Which gloves go with Exothermic?
Its fiery red burst suits a warm, aggressive loadout, so red or orange gloves land best — a red pair matches the blast directly, while orange picks up the hotter tones in the graphic. Black or dark gloves also work if you'd rather let the explosion stay the loudest piece you're carrying.
