AWP | Graphite (Factory New)
The AWP | Graphite (Factory New) is a Classified sniper skin wrapped in a dark carbon-graphite finish — a faceted, low-polygon pattern of metallic grays laid over a chrome base. Factory New is the top grade here, showing that metallic surface at its sharpest, with the low-poly panels catching light and no scuffing to dull them.
Design
Graphite dresses the rifle in a low-polygon pattern painted in metallic grays of varying reflectivity over a chrome undercoat, so the faceted panels shift between matte and glint as the light moves across them. It's a Valve in-house finish — described in-game as a memento from Agency — and it ships with the line "Pencils down, hands up." The restrained carbon look leans on texture and sheen rather than loud graphics.
AWP | Graphite (Factory New) Float and Wear
Factory New is the cleanest condition the finish reaches, and it earns the premium: the metallic facets stay fully saturated, the chrome base reads deep and reflective, and none of the low-poly edges are softened by abrasion. If you want the graphite sheen exactly as it was drawn, this is the grade to reach for.
AWP | Graphite Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink tier, sitting second from the top of the standard weapon grades, just below Covert. It's a genuinely uncommon grade to pull straight from a case.
AWP | Graphite Case and Collection
Graphite belongs to The Bravo Collection and drops from the Operation Bravo Case, released on September 19, 2013 alongside Operation Bravo. The Classified tier as a whole comes out at roughly 3.2% (a rate shared across the tier's skins), and since this early case sits well outside the active drop pool, supply is fixed — most copies now change hands on the market rather than being unboxed.
AWP | Graphite Patterns
Graphite has no random pattern variation — the polygon facets are printed the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or blue gem to hunt down. Wear and float are the only things that set one unit apart from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ version exists and adds a confirmed-kill counter, arriving as a rarer, pricier drop from the Operation Bravo Case; the counter is permanent and stays with the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Operation Bravo Case was never a Major drop.
AWP | Graphite Price
Factory New sits at the top of this skin's own price ladder as the highest grade available — the most you'll pay for the finish, and a premium pick within the AWP lineup that still stops short of grail money. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth it over Minimal Wear?
It depends how much the sheen matters to you. Factory New keeps the metallic facets at their brightest and the chrome base at its deepest, with nothing lost to abrasion. But because the gray surface hides light wear fairly well, a Minimal Wear copy reads close to the same at a glance for less — pay up only if you want the finish flawless.
Which gloves go with Graphite?
Its carbon-gray palette suits a dark, understated loadout, so gray, black, or gunmetal gloves land best and echo the metallic finish directly. Cool silver or muted blue wraps also work if you want a little contrast. Loud reds and oranges tend to fight the restrained graphite look, so keep the loadout tonal.
Who designed the AWP Graphite?
Graphite is a Valve in-house finish rather than a community Workshop submission. That fits its era: it shipped inside the Operation Bravo Case, one of the game's earliest cases, back when a large share of skins were still made by Valve rather than the community.
