AWP | Hyper Beast (Battle-Scarred)

AWP | Hyper Beast (Battle-Scarred)

The AWP | Hyper Beast (Battle-Scarred) is a Covert sniper skin showing its neon beast in the most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into an iconic AWP design, trading surface quality for the lowest entry price.

Design

Hyper Beast is a custom paint job that blankets the whole AWP in a snarling, psychedelic monster, its teeth and tongue splashed across the body in vivid neon. Community artist Brock Hofer created it, and it carries a cheeky in-game quote to match — "You really want to impress me Booth? Make this black light sensitive" (Rona Sabri, Rising Star).

AWP | Hyper Beast (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the rifle, and the once-vivid neon reads muted and patchy. Even so, the creature's teeth-and-tongue centerpiece stays recognizable, because the artwork is busy and colorful enough to survive the abuse. This is the finish at its roughest, and its most affordable.

AWP | Hyper Beast Rarity

Rarity: Covert, the red tier at the summit of the standard weapon-skin grades, above Classified. Covert skins drop least often of anything in a case, and that scarcity is a big reason for the prices they fetch.

AWP | Hyper Beast Case and Collection

Hyper Beast is a Falchion Collection skin, pulled from the Falchion Case that shipped with Operation Bloodhound in May 2015. Being Covert, it's the top-rarity tier in the case at about 0.64% per unboxing (a rate shared across the case's Covert finishes), and because the Falchion Case dropped out of the active pool long ago, its supply no longer grows — buyers mostly source copies from the market now instead of unboxing them.

AWP | Hyper Beast Patterns

The finish has no pattern randomness; the creature sits in exactly the same place on all copies, so a paint seed, blue gem, or phase never enters the picture. Copies differ only in their wear and float values.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ Hyper Beast is available too, carrying a permanent confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer and more expensive drop from the same Falchion Case, and the count persists through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir counterpart, since Souvenir weapons originate only in Major-tournament souvenir packages and this finish has never been part of a Major drop.

AWP | Hyper Beast Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run a Covert Hyper Beast for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want the wild neon-beast AWP for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Hyper Beast still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and dulled color, the dense creature artwork keeps the design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting obvious wear in exchange for the lowest price on a Covert skin — you lose surface quality, not the beast itself.

Why is Battle-Scarred so much cheaper?

Lower exteriors carry more visible damage, and demand concentrates on the higher grades where the neon looks its brightest — so Battle-Scarred sits at the bottom of the price ladder. For a full-coverage skin like this, the artwork holds up better than most, which makes the grade a genuine bargain entry point.

Which gloves go with Hyper Beast?

Its multi-color neon palette loves an equally loud pairing, so vibrant gloves work best — a colorful set in a pink-and-teal colorway echoes the beast's tones, while pink or purple wraps lock onto its brightest accents. If you'd rather let the artwork lead, plain black or dark gloves keep the focus on the rifle.
