AWP | LongDog (Factory New)

AWP | LongDog (Factory New)

The AWP | LongDog (Factory New) is a Covert sniper skin built around the LongDog graffiti pulled straight from the Train map — a stretched-out cartoon dachshund draped across a tan and brown frame. Factory New is the top grade, showing the goofy long dog at full saturation with a body free of scuffs, and it sits at the premium end of the AWP market.

Design

An in-house Valve creation, the finish lifts the LongDog graffiti off the walls of Train and wraps it around the rifle: a comically elongated dachshund cartoon stretched over warm tan and brown tones. It's Valve leaning into the map's own visual gag rather than a community submission, and it ships with a fitting in-game line: "The greatest dog to have ever lived is the one waiting for you at home."

AWP | LongDog (Factory New) Float and Wear

This finish runs a float range of 0.00–1.00. Factory New is the cleanest grade this finish reaches, with the float sitting at the very bottom of the scale. Here the long dog cartoon reads at peak saturation, the tan and brown tones stay rich, and the outlines of the artwork hold sharp with no scuffing on the body. For a skin whose whole appeal is the graphic itself, this is the version that shows it off best — and it is priced to match.

AWP | LongDog Rarity

Rarity: Covert — the red tier, the very top of the standard weapon rarity grades. On the AWP that places this among the most sought-after slots a weapon can occupy, and a genuinely rare pull.

AWP | LongDog Case and Collection

The finish belongs to The Train 2025 Collection, which is not tied to a buyable weapon case. As a Covert it's the rarest grade in the set — the Covert tier lands at roughly 0.64% (a rate shared across the tier's skins) — and copies surface only through Train souvenir packages handed out at Majors or through trade-ups, so supply is fixed rather than freely unboxable.

AWP | LongDog Patterns

There's no random pattern variation on this finish — the long dog graffiti sits the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or blue-gem to hunt. Float and wear are the only things separating one from another, though Souvenir copies wearing tournament stickers can carry premiums all their own.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's no StatTrak version — StatTrak weapons come from cases that ship with a StatTrak variant, and this finish was never part of such a case. A Souvenir version does exist, though: Souvenir weapons drop only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and because Train was a Major map, packages like the Austin 2025 Train Souvenir Package can yield a Souvenir copy.

AWP | LongDog Price

Factory New sits at the top of this finish's own ladder as the highest grade available, a clear step above the used exteriors — a premium AWP pick without climbing into full grail territory. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Factory New worth the premium over Minimal Wear?

Only if you want the very best grade. Factory New shows the long dog at peak saturation with a spotless body, but Minimal Wear looks so close that most players can't spot the difference in-game. The extra cost is mostly about owning the top condition rather than a visible upgrade, so many buyers happily settle a notch down.

What is the LongDog graffiti?

It's a running visual joke from the Train map — a cartoon dachshund drawn absurdly long, which fans nicknamed the "long dog." Valve turned that in-map graffiti into the AWP finish, stretching the same silhouette across the rifle in tan and brown, so the skin is essentially a piece of Train's humor made collectible.

Which gloves go with the LongDog?

Its warm tan-and-brown palette suits earthy, casual loadouts, so desert, leather, or brown-toned gloves tie in best. Hand Wraps in sandy or tan shades echo the frame, while a splash of a brighter accent can play up the cartoon's playful tone without clashing with the muted base.
