AWP | PAW (Field-Tested)

The AWP | PAW (Field-Tested) is a Restricted AWP skin decorated with a bold cartoon collage of cats, dogs, bears and other animals in pastel colors. Field-Tested is the most common, most affordable way to own it, with a bit of honest wear on the artwork.

Design

At its heart the finish is a playful comic strip wrapped around the rifle — cats, dogs, bears and other cartoon animals drawn in a bold, flat style over pastel blue, yellow and pink. The design comes from community artist TheDanidem, who leaned all the way into the whimsy, right down to a joke in-game line: "Kill rewards paid in scratching posts and tennis balls."

AWP | PAW (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

At Field-Tested the finish picks up visible scratching and some fading across the body, and on a bright pastel design that wear shows more openly than it would on a dark skin — the pale panels don't disguise scuffs. Even so, the cartoon animals stay clearly readable, and the colors keep enough life that the skin still reads as PAW at a glance. This is the grade most buyers land on for the balance of looks and price.

AWP | PAW Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier of the standard weapon grades. It sits one step beneath the pink Classified skins and one above the blue Mil-Spec ones, a mid-ladder grade that's moderately uncommon to unbox.

PAW sits within The Horizon Collection and is unboxed from the Horizon Case, which launched with the "A New Horizon" update in August 2018. AWP | PAW Patterns

PAW doesn't roll a random pattern: the animal collage is placed identically on each copy, so there's no seed or "blue gem" variant worth tracking down. Two copies only ever differ by their wear and float values, not by any pattern luck.
