AWP | Phobos (Factory New)

AWP | Phobos (Factory New)

The AWP | Phobos (Factory New) is a Restricted sniper skin wrapped in a sci-fi, industrial look — dark green metal panels, radioactive-yellow accents and black-and-yellow hazard stripes. Factory New is the top grade, showing every warning symbol and mechanical detail exactly as the artist drew it.

Design

Phobos goes for a "Blade Runner"-inspired industrial aesthetic: dark green metal panels sit against metallic gray, with radioactive-yellow accents and black-and-yellow hazard stripes running across the body. Warning symbols and fine mechanical detailing sell the laboratory, high-security vibe. It's a community design by the artist Apel, and it carries the in-game line "Build a better world."

AWP | Phobos (Factory New) Float and Wear

The finish is float-capped at 0.40, and Factory New is the tightest grade it reaches. At this level the green panels look deep and even, the hazard stripes read sharp, and none of the warning symbols or mechanical linework is lost to scuffing. If you want the busy sci-fi detailing at full legibility, this is the exterior to chase.

AWP | Phobos Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier. It sits above Mil-Spec and below Classified, squarely in the mid-band of the standard weapon grades, and it's a fairly common grade to pull from a case.

AWP | Phobos Case and Collection

Phobos belongs to The Gamma Collection and drops from the Gamma Case, which arrived with the Gamma Exposure update in June 2016. The Restricted tier as a whole unboxes about 15.98% of the time (an odds figure shared across the tier's skins), and since the Gamma Case has left the active drop pool, supply is fixed — most copies change hands on the market rather than through fresh unboxing.

AWP | Phobos Patterns

There's no random pattern variation on this finish — the panels, hazard stripes and warning symbols land the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. Wear and float are the only things that separate one from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ version exists and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a scarcer, pricier drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, carrying over when the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and the Gamma Case was a store case, never a Major drop.

AWP | Phobos Price

Factory New sits at the top of the Phobos price ladder as the cleanest grade available — a step above Minimal Wear, though the finish as a whole is a budget-friendly AWP pick rather than a premium one. It's an easy way to run a detailed sci-fi AWP without grail money. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Factory New worth it over Minimal Wear?

If you care about the busy detailing, yes. Factory New keeps the warning symbols and mechanical linework crisp, whereas even light wear starts nibbling at those fine marks. The gap in price is modest since Phobos is a budget finish, so paying up for the top grade rarely stings much here.

Which gloves go with Phobos?

Its green-and-yellow, industrial palette suits a utility or hazmat-flavored loadout. Olive or army-green gloves echo the panels, while a pair with yellow accents picks up the hazard stripes. Neutral gray or black wraps also work if you'd rather let the skin's own color do the talking.

Does Phobos come in Factory New?

Yes. The finish rolls from 0.00 up to a 0.40 cap, so Factory New is available and is the cleanest condition it reaches. There's no Battle-Scarred at all, since the float never climbs high enough — the ladder runs Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, then Well-Worn.
