AWP | POP AWP (Field-Tested)
The AWP | POP AWP (Field-Tested) is a Restricted sniper skin decked out in a comic-style pop-art wrap of red, white and blue geometry. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it, adding a little honest wear to a loud design for a friendlier price.
Design
At its core the design is a cubist pop-art hydrographic — angular white, red and blue shapes with small Russian text worked into the graphic, and a dark barrel and scope that make the colors pop. Valve created it internally with a playful, poster-style flair, and it comes with the in-game line "Wars are won with information."
AWP | POP AWP (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested adds visible wear along the edges and high points, and because the base carries large light-colored areas, the scuffing shows a bit more than it would on a dark skin. Even so, the bold shapes and Russian text stay easy to read, which is why this grade is the go-to for players who want the look on a budget.
AWP | POP AWP Rarity
Restricted is where this finish lands — the purple tier, positioned below Classified and above the blue Mil-Spec grade on the standard rarity ladder. Pulling one is genuinely uncommon.
AWP | POP AWP Case and Collection
Released alongside Operation Riptide in September 2021, the skin sits in The 2021 Train Collection. There's no weapon case behind it — it drops from the collection directly, with the Restricted grade turning up about 15.98% of the time (a figure shared across the tier). Now that the operation has ended, buyers mostly pick copies up on the market.
AWP | POP AWP Patterns
Because the pop-art design sits the same on every unit, the skin has no random pattern variation — nothing like a blue gem or special seed to track down. Wear and float are the only things that separate copies.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak POP AWP. The StatTrak roll happens only when a weapon case is opened, and this finish doesn't belong to a case, so that edition was never produced. Nor is there a Souvenir version, as Souvenir weapons are issued exclusively from Major-tournament packages and this collection wasn't part of one.
AWP | POP AWP Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping the design fully readable. Among AWP skins as a whole it's a mid-tier, wallet-friendly choice. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does Field-Tested POP AWP look worn?
A little. Field-Tested adds visible scuffing along the edges and high points, and because the design has large light-colored blocks, that wear shows slightly more than it would on a dark skin. Still, the bold geometry and Russian text stay easy to make out, so the look holds up well.
Is Field-Tested the best value POP AWP?
For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Factory New and Minimal Wear while keeping the pop-art design fully legible, and it's the most common grade on the market. Well-Worn is cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier fading on the light areas.
Is there a Souvenir POP AWP?
No. Souvenir weapons are handed out only through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish was never part of a Major drop — it belongs to The 2021 Train Collection from Operation Riptide. There's no StatTrak version either, since the skin doesn't come from a weapon case.
