AWP | Redline (Field-Tested)
The AWP | Redline (Field-Tested) is a Classified sniper skin with a carbon-fiber body, red-and-gray tones, and a bold red pinstripe. Field-Tested is the most common, most recognizable way to own it — a little honest wear on a design that shrugs it off, for well under the higher grade.
Design
The look is all about a sporty, race-inspired feel: a carbon-fiber hydrographic base in red and gray, marked by one dry-transfer red pinstripe and speed motifs instead of clutter. The community artist emkay created it, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "Never be afraid to push it to the limit."
AWP | Redline (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
At Field-Tested the finish picks up light scratching along the edges and rails, but the carbon base masks it well enough that most copies still read tidy at a glance, and the red pinstripe holds its color regardless of float. This is the grade most players picture when they think of the Redline — the sweet spot between looks and price.
AWP | Redline Rarity
Rarity: Classified. That's the pink tier, sitting one step under Covert and second-highest among the standard weapon grades — a genuinely uncommon pull from any case.
AWP | Redline Case and Collection
This finish belongs to The Winter Offensive Collection and comes out of the Winter Offensive Weapon Case, which launched alongside the Winter Offensive update in December 2013. Across the case the Classified tier lands at roughly 3.2% (a figure shared among the tier's skins), and since the Winter Offensive Case has left the active drop pool, supply is capped — most copies are picked up on the market rather than unboxed.
AWP | Redline Patterns
There's no random pattern variation on the Redline — the carbon weave and the red pinstripe land identically on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth chasing. The only things that set copies apart are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak™ AWP | Redline, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it drops more rarely and costs more than the standard skin, pulled from the same Winter Offensive Weapon Case, and its counter is permanent, staying with the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir version exists — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages, and this case was never a Major drop.
AWP | Redline Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping nearly the same look, which is a big part of why the Redline is such a popular AWP. It's an affordable mid-range finish that won't break the bank. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Redline look worn?
Barely. The carbon-fiber base masks scratches unusually well, so a Field-Tested copy reads as tidy to most eyes, with only light edge wear on close inspection. The red pinstripe isn't affected by float at all, so the skin's signature detail always stands out.
Is Field-Tested the best value Redline?
For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear but looks almost identical thanks to the wear-hiding base, and it's far more common on the market. Well-Worn is cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind a bit more visible scuffing.
Which gloves go with the Redline?
Its red-and-gray, carbon-look palette suits a dark, high-contrast loadout, so red, gray, or black gloves work best — a red pair picks up the pinstripe, while gray or carbon-style wraps echo the sporty base. It also pairs naturally with the AK-47 | Redline for a matching set.
