AWP | Sun in Leo (Well-Worn)
The AWP | Sun in Leo (Well-Worn) is an Industrial Grade sniper skin with a zodiac hydrographic — a sun and the astrological sign of Leo over a blue body — here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper route into the celestial look, with scuffing the blue base still partly disguises.
Design
Underneath the wear, the finish is an astrology-themed hydrographic that sets a stylized sun and the Leo star sign on a cool blue base — a serene, celestial take rather than a busy graphic. Valve built it in-house instead of taking a community entry, and it carries a fitting horoscope line: "It's going to be a rough month for your enemies."
AWP | Sun in Leo (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the body, rails, and scope, where the blue thins out. The sun-and-Leo motif still holds as the standout detail, but there's no hiding that this is a worn grade. For players who care more about price than a spotless surface, the skin delivers its recognizable zodiac look here for noticeably less.
AWP | Sun in Leo Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue tier, sitting one rung above Consumer Grade and directly below Mil-Spec among the standard weapon grades. It's a low, common grade, which helps explain why the finish is one of the cheaper AWP options around.
AWP | Sun in Leo Case and Collection
The Sun in Leo sits in The Gods and Monsters Collection, released together with Operation Bloodhound back in May 2015. The collection has no case attached, so copies are obtained through trade-up contracts or bought secondhand rather than unboxed — an origin that keeps supply high and the entry price low.
AWP | Sun in Leo Patterns
The zodiac hydrographic rolls no random pattern — it appears the same on each copy, leaving no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. What distinguishes copies is float and wear alone, with no rare seed to command a premium.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's no StatTrak Sun in Leo — StatTrak weapons derive from cases that ship a StatTrak variant, and this finish was never one of them. A Souvenir version is absent as well, because Souvenir weapons drop solely from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Gods and Monsters Collection has never appeared as a Major souvenir drop.
AWP | Sun in Leo Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a rock-bottom route to the zodiac design for players who won't pay even the mid-grade premium. It's among the cheapest ways to get a genuine copy into your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Sun in Leo look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and paint thinning across the body and around the scope — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering of Battle-Scarred. The blue base and sun-and-Leo motif keep it recognizable, so it still reads clearly as the Sun in Leo in-game despite the wear.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is your priority. Field-Tested looks a fair bit fresher for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the zodiac design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way down to Battle-Scarred and its heavier scuffing.
Is the Sun in Leo a good budget AWP?
Yes. As an Industrial Grade finish with no case behind it, it's one of the most affordable ways to run a themed AWP, and Well-Worn is near the cheapest rung of all. The calm blue-and-zodiac look stands out against the darker skins most snipers carry, without stretching your budget.
