AWP | Worm God (Well-Worn)

AWP | Worm God (Well-Worn)

The AWP | Worm God (Well-Worn) is a Restricted sniper skin carrying a skull-and-roots design in blue and gold over a light body, here in a more battle-worn state. It's the cheapest way into an unusual, deity-flavored AWP finish, with visible wear the pale base doesn't hide.

Design

Worm God keeps its look built around a coiling skull-and-roots image in blue and gold over a pale surface — an eerie, half-mythic sci-fi design finished to resemble high-durability enamel. Designed by the community artist enzYm, it ships with a fitting in-game line: "There are some roots you don't want to take hold."

AWP | Worm God (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

At Well-Worn the light base wears its damage openly — clear scuffing and paint loss spread across the body and edges, where the finish thins out. The blue-and-gold root artwork survives as the anchor that keeps the skin readable. This is the most worn grade the finish reaches, since it's float-capped at 0.45 and never crosses into Battle-Scarred.

AWP | Worm God Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple grade. It sits one step above Mil-Spec and one below Classified among the standard weapon tiers — a mid-high grade that's scarcer than the common blue skins but far from the rarest pink and red drops.

AWP | Worm God Case and Collection

The skin is part of The Chroma 2 Collection and drops from the Chroma 2 Case that arrived with the April 2015 update. The Restricted tier as a group unboxes about 15.98% of the time (that figure is shared across the tier), and with the Chroma 2 Case out of the active drop pool, supply stays fixed — most copies are bought on the market rather than pulled fresh.

AWP | Worm God Patterns

The finish carries no random pattern roll — the skull-and-roots artwork is placed the same on each copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ from one another only by their wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ AWP | Worm God does exist and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, more costly drop than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent — it carries over whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir version was never produced, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages and the Chroma 2 Case was a regular case, not a Major package.

AWP | Worm God Price

Well-Worn sits at the bottom of the ladder as the most worn grade available, below Field-Tested — the cheapest route into the design for players who care more about the motif than a spotless surface. On an already budget-priced AWP, it's about as low as the entry cost goes. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does the Well-Worn Worm God look?

Noticeably. On a pale base, expect visible scratches and paint thinning across the body and edges — more than Field-Tested but stopping short of a true Battle-Scarred beating, since the finish caps at 0.45. The blue-and-gold root artwork keeps it recognizable, so it still reads as the Worm God in-game.

Why is there no Battle-Scarred Worm God?

The finish is float-capped at 0.45, and Battle-Scarred needs a float of 0.45 or higher. Because the game never rolls a copy above that cap, the grade simply can't exist here — Well-Worn is the most worn condition the skin comes in.

Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?

Only if the lowest price is your priority. Field-Tested looks a fair bit cleaner for a small step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want this eerie AWP design as cheaply as possible and don't mind the pale base showing its wear.
