Design

Silver keeps things simple: a polished chrome base coat sealed under a transparent silver anodized layer, giving the pistol a sleek, reflective metal look rather than a painted pattern. It's a Valve-made finish, and it ships with a fitting in-game line from Franz Kriegeld, Phoenix Tactician: "There is beauty in simplicity."

CZ75-Auto | Silver (Factory New) Float and Wear

Float on the Silver runs from 0 up to just 0.08, a narrow band that only stretches across Factory New and Minimal Wear. At the Factory New end the chrome base and anodized coat sit essentially untouched, giving the pistol its brightest, most mirror-like read.

Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue tier that sits just above the base Consumer Grade rung. It's one of the more common grades to see drop, which keeps the finish accessible.

This finish belongs to The Ancient Collection, which debuted alongside Operation Broken Fang in December 2020. It isn't a case drop — copies come from the collection itself rather than a weapon case, so unboxing odds don't apply here.

Since the whole finish is capped at a 0.08 float, the visual gap between Factory New and Minimal Wear is small to begin with. Factory New is still the top grade and commands the highest price, but Minimal Wear gets you nearly the same reflective chrome look for less.

Why does the Silver only come in two wears?

Its float range runs from 0 to 0.08, which is far too tight to ever produce a Field-Tested, Well-Worn, or Battle-Scarred copy. Every Silver that exists falls inside the Factory New or Minimal Wear band.
