Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Battle-Scarred)

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Battle-Scarred)

The Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with an ash-colored grip and a blue slide, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the blue-slide Deagle look, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.

Design

Blue Ply stays minimal: a laminated Deagle filled with an ash-colored grip and a bold blue slide, leaning on color rather than detail. Designed by the community artist PTP — who has a clear gift for making the plain look polished — it ships with a wry in-game line: "WARNING: This is a replica and has not been tested with live ammunition."

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Blue Ply uses the full float range, and Battle-Scarred sits at the very top of the 0.00–1.00 scale — the most worn the finish gets. Here the slide wears its damage openly, with heavy scratching and paint loss, and the blue fades to its dullest. Because the scale runs all the way to 1.0, these copies do reach the rough extreme, unlike float-capped finishes.

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier. It sits at the base of the standard weapon grades and is the most common rarity to unbox — abundance that keeps even the higher wears cheap and this one cheapest of all.

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Case and Collection

The finish belongs to The Prisma 2 Collection and drops from the Prisma 2 Case, released back in March 2020. The Mil-Spec tier unboxes around 79.92% of the time from the case (a rate shared among the tier's skins), which floods the market with copies and keeps the price at rock bottom.

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Patterns

Every Blue Ply places the blue slide and ash grip the same way, so the finish has no random pattern variation — no paint seed or "blue gem" to look for. The only things that tell one copy from another are wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's a StatTrak™ Blue Ply as well, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, pricier drop from the Prisma 2 Case than the standard finish, and the counter is permanent, staying with the item through every trade and sale. No Souvenir version exists — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages, and the Prisma 2 Case has never been a Major drop.

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of an already-budget skin — the entry-level way to run the blue-slide Deagle for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want it for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Blue Ply still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and a much duller blue, the slide's color keeps the design readable at a glance in-game, and the ash grip hides some of the damage. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear for the lowest price, not losing the look altogether.

Why is the Battle-Scarred Blue Ply so cheap?

Two reasons stack up. It's a Mil-Spec skin — the most common, lowest-cost rarity — and Battle-Scarred is the most worn grade on top of that. With the Prisma 2 Case having flooded the market with copies, this grade lands at the very bottom of an already inexpensive range.

Does Blue Ply reach the extreme worn end?

It does. The finish runs the full 0.00 to 1.00 float range with no cap, so Battle-Scarred copies climb to the roughest end of the scale — heavier wear than you'd see on a float-limited skin. The blue slide dulls and the slide takes on plenty of scratching at this level.
