Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Factory New)

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Factory New)

The Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Factory New) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin — a laminated look with an ash-colored grip and a bold blue slide. Factory New is the cleanest grade the finish comes in, showing the blue slide at its most saturated.

Design

Blue Ply keeps things simple: the Deagle is laminated and filled with an ash-colored grip paired against a striking blue slide. It's a community design by the artist PTP, whose knack for blending plain shapes with a bit of style shows here. The skin also carries a tongue-in-cheek in-game line: "WARNING: This is a replica and has not been tested with live ammunition."

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Factory New) Float and Wear

Float runs the full 0.00–1.00 range on this finish, and Factory New sits at the very bottom of it. At this level the blue slide reads deep and even with no scratching, and the ash grip stays uniform — the top grade for anyone who wants the color as rich as the skin allows.

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, the base grade among standard weapon skins. It's the most common rarity to pull, which is a big part of why the finish stays so affordable.

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Case and Collection

Blue Ply belongs to The Prisma 2 Collection and drops from the Prisma 2 Case, released in March 2020. The Mil-Spec tier as a whole comes out of the case about 79.92% of the time (a rate shared across the tier's skins), so copies are plentiful and cheap to pick up on the market.

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Patterns

There's no random pattern variation on Blue Ply — the ash grip and blue slide land the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. Wear and float are the only things that separate one from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ version exists and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it drops from the Prisma 2 Case as a rarer, pricier pull than the standard skin, and its counter is permanent, carrying over when the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir version — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and the Prisma 2 Case was never a Major drop.

Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Price

Factory New sits at the top of the Blue Ply price ladder as the highest grade — a step above Minimal Wear, but still a genuinely budget-friendly Deagle by any measure. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Factory New worth it over Minimal Wear?

If you want the blue slide at its most saturated with zero surface marks, yes. Factory New is the top grade and looks the part. That said, the difference to Minimal Wear is subtle at a glance, and since the whole skin is inexpensive, the small step up in price is easy to justify either way.

Which gloves go with Blue Ply?

Its ash-and-blue palette suits a cool, blue-leaning loadout, so blue or gray gloves work best — a blue pair echoes the slide, while a neutral gray keeps the muted grip tone. It's an easy match for any blue-heavy set of skins.

Is Blue Ply a good budget Deagle?

Very much so. It's a Mil-Spec finish, the most common and cheapest rarity, yet the blue slide gives it a clean, distinctive look that punches above its price. For players who want a sharp-looking Deagle without spending much, it's one of the easier picks.
