Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Well-Worn)
The Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Well-Worn) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with an ash-colored grip and a blue slide, here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper route to the blue-slide look, with scuffing that the muted grip tone still partly disguises.
Design
At its heart the finish is a laminated Deagle filled with an ash-colored grip and a bold blue slide — minimal in form but bold in color. It began as a community submission from the artist PTP, whose talent for turning simple into stylish is on show here. It carries a tongue-in-cheek in-game line too: "WARNING: This is a replica and has not been tested with live ammunition."
Desert Eagle | Blue Ply (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
The float scale runs the full 0.00 to 1.00, and Well-Worn sits near the rough end of it. At this level the slide shows clear scuffing and the blue dulls noticeably, with paint thinning across the edges. The color still carries the design, but there's no pretending this is a clean grade — it's a worn look at a low price.
Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, ranked at the base of the standard weapon grades. It's the most common rarity to unbox, and that abundance is a big reason the skin is so cheap.
Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Case and Collection
Blue Ply sits in The Prisma 2 Collection and is unboxed from the Prisma 2 Case, released in March 2020. The Mil-Spec tier as a group drops about 79.92% of the time from the case (that odds figure is shared across the tier), so copies are everywhere and pick up cheaply on the market.
Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Patterns
The finish has no random pattern roll: the blue slide and ash grip are placed the same on each copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" worth hunting. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Blue Ply does exist and brings a confirmed-kill counter with it; it's a scarcer, costlier drop from the Prisma 2 Case than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent — it carries over whenever the item changes hands. A Souvenir version was never produced, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and the Prisma 2 Case has never been a Major drop.
Desert Eagle | Blue Ply Price
Well-Worn sits low on the ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a bargain route to the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade rate. On a skin this affordable to start with, it's about as cheap as a recognizable blue Deagle gets. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Blue Ply look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scuffing on the slide and a duller blue than the higher grades, with paint thinning around the edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering of Battle-Scarred. The ash grip softens the impression, so it still reads as Blue Ply in-game.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if the lowest sensible price is your goal. Field-Tested looks clearly better for a small step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the blue-slide design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Does the blue slide still show at Well-Worn?
Yes, though muted. The blue reads a good deal duller than at the clean grades and the slide carries visible scuffing, but the color remains the skin's anchor and keeps it identifiable at a glance. If the vivid blue is what you're after, a higher grade serves better.
