Desert Eagle | Code Red (Battle-Scarred)
The Desert Eagle | Code Red (Battle-Scarred) is a Covert pistol skin with a bright red body and white detailing, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into a bold, iconic Deagle design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
Code Red keeps things bold and stripped-back: white detailing running across a vibrant red base, a look that trades busy graphics for pure, high-saturation color. Designed by the community artist DasDas, whose bright palettes are his signature, it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Man your stations."
Desert Eagle | Code Red (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
This finish uses the full 0.00–1.00 float range, and Battle-Scarred occupies the very top of it. At this grade the skin wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss across the slide, with the red dulled well below its peak. The color and white accents still anchor the design, keeping it identifiable even at its roughest.
Desert Eagle | Code Red Rarity
Rarity: Covert, the red tier. It sits at the top of the standard weapon grades, the rarest class a case can produce short of a knife, and it's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox.
Desert Eagle | Code Red Case and Collection
The Code Red is part of The Horizon Collection and is unboxed from the Horizon Case, which shipped alongside the "A New Horizon" update in August 2018. The Covert tier drops roughly 0.64% of the time from the case (an odds figure shared across the tier), meaning most copies are bought on the market rather than pulled from a case.
Desert Eagle | Code Red Patterns
There's no random pattern roll to speak of on Code Red — the red base and white detailing appear the same on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth hunting. Only wear and float set one copy apart from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Code Red is also out there, adding a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer and costlier drop from the Horizon Case than the plain skin, and the counter is permanent, carrying over through any trade or sale. No Souvenir version was ever released — Souvenir weapons are produced solely from Major-tournament packages, and the Horizon Case has never been a Major drop.
Desert Eagle | Code Red Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the Code Red design for players who care more about the look than the surface. If you want the loud red-on-white Deagle for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Code Red still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and a duller red, the strong base color and white detailing keep the design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look of the skin entirely.
Why buy Battle-Scarred instead of a higher grade?
Purely for price. It's the least expensive way to own a Covert Deagle finish, and because the bold red carries so much of the identity, the skin stays clearly Code Red even at heavy wear. If budget matters more than a spotless slide, it's the smart entry point.
How does Code Red compare in price to other Deagle skins?
It sits in premium territory for the Desert Eagle, above the budget and mid-tier finishes but short of true grail money. As a Covert skin pulling at only about 0.64% from the Horizon Case, even Battle-Scarred — its cheapest grade — still costs more than most Mil-Spec or Classified Deagle finishes.
