Desert Eagle | Crimson Web (Battle-Scarred)
The Desert Eagle | Crimson Web (Battle-Scarred) is the roughest-looking grade of this Restricted spider-web finish, though it never reaches the harshest wear some skins hit. It's the cheapest entry point into the web design.
Design
Valve's design layers a spider-web-patterned hydrographic over a red base coat, finished with a semi-gloss topcoat. The flavor line — "Be careful where you walk, you never know where the web is spread" — plays directly off the visual.
Desert Eagle | Crimson Web (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred sits at the top of the finish's 0.06–0.80 float range, the highest float this skin can roll. Because that ceiling stops at 0.80 rather than 1.0, this worst-case grade is milder than a full-range skin's Battle-Scarred — heavy scratching and paint loss are visible across the body, but the design doesn't get obliterated the way it could on a skin with no cap at all.
Desert Eagle | Crimson Web Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the blue-violet tier sitting above Mil-Spec and below Classified — a solidly uncommon pull from a case regardless of the eventual wear.
Desert Eagle | Crimson Web Case and Collection
The Crimson Web belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, dropping originally from the eSports 2014 Summer Case that arrived in July 2014. The Restricted tier as a whole pulls at about 16% from that case, and since it's been out of the active drop pool for years, the market is essentially the only realistic way to pick one up now.
Desert Eagle | Crimson Web Patterns
The seed still decides where the black webbing falls even at this wear grade, and a "full web" — dense and centered rather than sparse — remains the pattern that carries a premium. Battle-Scarred's high floats make a truly clean, low-float full-web copy unlikely, so most buyers at this grade are after the design and the price, not a chase pattern.
StatTrak & Souvenir
StatTrak™ copies exist, sourced from the same eSports 2014 Summer Case, adding a permanent kill counter that carries through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir version, since that variant is only ever produced for Major-tournament packages, and this collection has never been one.
Desert Eagle | Crimson Web Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade on the Crimson Web's price ladder, the budget way to run the design when condition matters less than cost. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does Battle-Scarred still show the full web pattern?
Yes, the placement of the black webbing is still visible despite the scratching, since the finish's 0.80 float cap keeps damage from getting as extreme as an uncapped skin's worst grade. It just won't compete with a low-float copy for pattern-hunting purposes.
Why isn't Battle-Scarred totally trashed-looking?
Crimson Web's float range tops out at 0.80 instead of the usual 1.0 maximum, so even its worst grade avoids the heaviest possible wear. The red base and web print stay identifiable, just with clear scuffing layered over them.
What's the best pattern for the Crimson Web?
A "full web" — a large, dense spider-web print centered on the slide rather than thin or off to one side — is the pattern collectors specifically look for, and it's worth the most when paired with a low float. Battle-Scarred's higher floats make that combination rare here.
