Desert Eagle | Directive (Minimal Wear)

Desert Eagle | Directive (Minimal Wear)

The Desert Eagle | Directive (Minimal Wear) is a Restricted pistol skin finished in the Patina style, its slide split into blue-and-brown textured metal panels over a black grip. Minimal Wear keeps the coloring close to fresh while nudging the entry price below Factory New.

Design

Built as a Patina finish, Directive skips printed graphics and instead washes the slide's textured panels in uneven blue and brown, an oxidized-alloy look set off by a black handle and black hardware. The overall feel is industrial and machined rather than flashy. It's a community design from Millenia and Primrose, and it ships with the in-game line: "Your move..."

Desert Eagle | Directive (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

With the finish spanning the full 0.06–1.00 range, Minimal Wear sits one step under Factory New. At this level the patina is still light — a little more discoloration gathers on the slide edges, but the blue-and-brown panels stay saturated and the texture reads well. For most buyers it's the value grade that keeps the design looking near-new.

Desert Eagle Directive Rarity

Rarity: Restricted. That's the purple grade, one rung above Mil-Spec and one below Classified — a genuinely respectable tier to unbox.

Desert Eagle Directive Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Gamma 2 Collection and comes out of the Gamma 2 Case, which launched on August 18, 2016. Across the case the Restricted tier pulls at roughly 15.98% (a rate shared among the tier's skins), and since the Gamma 2 Case has left the active drop pool, supply is capped — copies are picked up on the market far more often than unboxed.

Desert Eagle Directive Patterns

The Directive carries no random pattern variation — the panels and their coloring are placed identically on each copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth hunting. The only things separating copies are wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There is a StatTrak™ Directive, which brings a confirmed-kill counter; it drops more rarely and costs more than the plain skin, and its counter is permanent, staying with the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir version was made — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages, and this skin arrived via the Gamma 2 Case, not a Major.

Desert Eagle Directive Price

Minimal Wear lands just under Factory New on the price ladder while holding nearly the same look, which makes it a smart middle option — a premium Deagle finish without the top-grade cost. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Minimal Wear look much different from Factory New?

Not by much. The patina is a touch heavier around the slide edges, but the blue-and-brown panels stay vivid and the metal texture holds up. Most players won't spot the gap in-game, which is exactly why Minimal Wear is such a popular value grade for this finish.

Why is there a StatTrak Directive but no Souvenir one?

StatTrak copies come from the Gamma 2 Case as a rarer drop alongside the standard skin. Souvenir weapons are a separate thing entirely — they're only handed out through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Directive was never part of a Major drop, so no Souvenir version exists.

Is the Directive a good buy at this grade?

For value hunters, yes. Minimal Wear keeps the industrial blue-brown look almost intact for less than Factory New money, and it's a premium finish in the Desert Eagle range without reaching grail prices. It's a sensible way to own the design at a near-fresh condition.
