Desert Eagle | Directive (Well-Worn)
The Desert Eagle | Directive (Well-Worn) is a Restricted pistol skin in the Patina style, its blue-and-brown metal panels here darkened by heavier oxidation over a black grip. It's a cheaper route into an industrial-looking Deagle, with the patina claiming more of the slide.
Design
At its core the finish is a set of textured metal panels across the slide, washed unevenly in blue and brown, with black used for the grip and hardware. It's a Patina finish, meaning the color reads as a simulated oxidized coat rather than a printed graphic — an industrial, machined aesthetic. The community duo Millenia and Primrose designed it, and it carries the in-game line: "Your move..."
Desert Eagle | Directive (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Spanning the full 0.06–1.00 float scale, Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the range. At this level the patina has spread across much of the slide, muting the blue and brown into a darker, aged metal tone, though the panel outlines still hold. For players who care more about price than a bright finish, it delivers the recognizable design for less.
Desert Eagle Directive Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple grade, ranked above Mil-Spec and just beneath Classified among the standard weapon tiers. It's a respectable grade to unbox.
Desert Eagle Directive Case and Collection
Part of The Gamma 2 Collection, the Directive drops from the Gamma 2 Case that arrived on August 18, 2016. The Restricted tier as a group unboxes about 15.98% of the time (that odds figure is shared across the tier), and with the case retired from the active drop pool, supply is fixed — buyers get most copies on the market instead of from a case.
Desert Eagle Directive Patterns
The Directive has no random pattern roll: the panels and their coloring are placed the same on each copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Directive does exist and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, costlier drop than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent — it carries over whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir version was never produced, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and this finish was released through the Gamma 2 Case.
Desert Eagle Directive Price
Well-Worn sits low on the Directive ladder, under Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. One of the cheaper routes to a genuine Directive in your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How heavy is the wear on a Well-Worn Directive?
Fairly heavy. The patina now covers much of the slide, so the blue-and-brown panels look darkened and aged rather than vivid. It's a clear step past Field-Tested but not quite the fully coated look of Battle-Scarred, and the panel layout keeps the skin recognizable in-game.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Mainly if price is your priority. Field-Tested keeps more of the original coloring for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers lean that way. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Directive design as cheaply as possible without dropping to the most oxidized grade.
Which gloves suit a Well-Worn Directive?
With the palette now leaning darker, gunmetal, slate, or plain black gloves fit best and reinforce the aged-alloy feel. A pair with subtle blue tones can still echo the surviving panel color. Bright or warm gloves tend to clash with the heavier patina at this grade.
