Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr (Field-Tested)
The Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr (Field-Tested) is a Restricted pistol skin carrying the anodized emerald serpent design in a lightly weathered state. Field-Tested is the most common and accessible way into this grail finish, with modest edge wear on a green base that still reads bold.
Design
The finish depicts Jörmungandr, the Norse World Serpent, as wavy interlocking green lines running the length of the pistol, an anodized emerald coat accented by gray Old Norse ornaments and dark outlines. Metallic paint lends it a reflective sheen. It's a Valve creation, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "Wake the gods."
Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
On the 0.00–0.50 float scale, Field-Tested occupies the middle. Expect visible wear along the slide ridges, trigger guard, and other high-contact edges, with the green dulling slightly at the corners. The core serpent pattern stays perfectly readable, though, so the skin keeps its identity — this is the grade where looks and cost meet most sensibly.
Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier. Among the standard weapon grades it ranks above Mil-Spec and below Classified, making it an uncommon drop, and one that trades at a premium because this finish is so wanted.
Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr Case and Collection
This finish is one of The Norse Collection's skins, released with Operation Shattered Web on November 18, 2019. The Restricted tier collectively drops around 15.98% of the time (that rate covers the whole tier, not this skin alone), and since the operation ended years ago the pool is capped — buyers pick these up on the market rather than from an active drop.
Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr Patterns
Every copy rolls a paint seed that positions the serpent differently, so no two are laid out quite the same. A seed that puts Jörmungandr's head front and center on the slide is the prize collectors look for and can bump the value up. Even at this grade, the pattern is worth a look before you buy.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak version of this finish was never produced. Kill counters are added only when a skin appears in a weapon case, and this one came from a collection tied to an operation, so there was no StatTrak source to draw from. Nor is there a Souvenir variant, as Souvenir weapons originate only in Major-tournament packages and The Norse Collection wasn't offered through a Major.
Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr Price
Field-Tested is the most affordable common route into this finish, sitting below Factory New and Minimal Wear on the ladder. That said, this is the priciest Desert Eagle finish overall, so even the entry-friendly grade carries a high-end tag. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested look worn?
Somewhat. You'll see wear on the slide ridges and trigger guard, with the green losing a little richness at the corners. But the anodized serpent pattern covers the pistol so fully that it stays vivid and unmistakable from playing distance — the wear shows mostly under close inspection.
Is Field-Tested the best value grade?
For getting into this finish, usually yes. It's the most common exterior and the friendliest on price, while the emerald serpent design still reads bold. If you want a sharper surface you'll step up to Minimal Wear or Factory New, but Field-Tested delivers the look for the least outlay.
What loadout suits this Deagle?
A green-forward kit. Emerald or teal gloves mirror the serpent's tone, and a green-and-dark loadout makes the whole setup feel deliberate. Prefer contrast? Black or gunmetal gloves keep the vivid green as the standout piece rather than competing with it.
