Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr (Minimal Wear)
The Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr (Minimal Wear) is a Restricted pistol skin dressing the Deagle in an anodized emerald serpent finish. Minimal Wear keeps the green nearly as vivid as the top grade for a little less, with only the faintest softening on the highest-contact edges.
Design
An anodized coat of deep emerald green covers the whole pistol, its wavy interlocking lines forming Jörmungandr, the World Serpent of Norse legend. Gray Old Norse ornaments and dark outlines break up the green, and metallic paint gives the surface its glossy shine. Valve designed the finish, which ships with a fitting in-game line: "Wake the gods."
Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Sitting just above Factory New on the 0.00–0.50 scale, Minimal Wear holds almost all of the finish's punch. The emerald green stays saturated and the serpent lines legible; the only tell is a touch of light softening at the muzzle and front slide, easy to miss at a glance. For most buyers it's the value pick that still looks a cut above worn grades.
Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple grade. It slots in above Mil-Spec and below Classified in the standard weapon tiers — an uncommon drop, and one in heavy demand thanks to the popularity of this particular finish.
Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr Case and Collection
Part of The Norse Collection, this finish launched alongside Operation Shattered Web on November 18, 2019. Across that collection the Restricted tier pulls at about 15.98% (an odds figure shared among the tier's skins), and with the operation retired the supply is fixed — the vast majority of copies now trade hands on the open market rather than coming from a drop.
Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr Patterns
A paint seed decides where the serpent sits, so Jörmungandr's head and body land differently on each copy. Seeds that frame the serpent's head cleanly on the slide are the ones collectors chase, and they can lift the price of an otherwise ordinary copy. When comparing two of these, check the seed as closely as the wear.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak edition of this skin was ever made. Because a kill counter is added only through weapon cases and this finish came from a collection introduced during an operation, there was no StatTrak-enabled source for it. Likewise there's no Souvenir variant — those are produced exclusively in Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Norse Collection was never distributed through a Major.
Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr Price
Minimal Wear lands just under Factory New at the high end of the ladder, and since this is the most expensive Desert Eagle finish going, even the second grade is firmly grail-tier. You give up a sliver of surface for a meaningful saving over the top exterior. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Minimal Wear worth it over Factory New?
For most collectors, yes. The emerald green looks nearly identical to Factory New — only the muzzle and front slide show a hint of softening — while the price steps down noticeably. Pay up for Factory New if you want the absolute best surface or a top-tier serpent seed; otherwise this grade is the smarter buy.
Does the serpent pattern change the value here too?
It does. The paint seed sets the serpent's placement on every copy regardless of grade, so a Minimal Wear with a well-centered head can outprice one with an awkward seed. When you shop this exterior, weigh the pattern alongside the float.
Why is there no StatTrak Minimal Wear?
StatTrak weapons only come out of cases, and this finish was released as a collection during an operation rather than through a StatTrak case. With no such source, a kill-counter version of the finish simply never existed in any grade.
