Desert Eagle | Hand Cannon (Factory New)
The Desert Eagle | Hand Cannon (Factory New) is a Restricted pistol skin with a marbleized blue patina finish over brass, inspired by an antique cannon. Factory New is the cleanest grade this finish comes in, showing the acid-stained blue at its richest.
Design
Hand Cannon treats the Deagle's brass body with an acid patina, leaving a marbleized blue surface streaked with yellow and brown staining and finished off with a gray leather grip insert — an antique-artillery look rather than anything modern or tactical. Valve designed it, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "Be prepared to encounter many thorns in the trials to come."
Desert Eagle | Hand Cannon (Factory New) Float and Wear
This finish runs a float range of 0.01–0.70, and Factory New sits at the very bottom of that scale. Here the patina reads at its most vivid, the blue deep and the brass edges free of the abrasion that creeps in on lower grades. For a patina skin, where the surface color is the whole appeal, this top condition shows it off exactly as intended.
Desert Eagle | Hand Cannon Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, mid-table among the standard weapon grades. It's a step below the Classified and Covert skins collectors chase hardest, but a genuine notch above the common blue and light-blue drops.
Desert Eagle | Hand Cannon Case and Collection
The Hand Cannon belongs to The Cobblestone Collection, introduced with Operation Breakout in July 2014. Copies come from Cobblestone Souvenir packages rather than a weapon case, with the Restricted tier landing at roughly 15.98% (a rate shared across the tier's skins). Because those packages were tied to specific Major tournaments, supply is fixed and most copies now change hands on the market.
Desert Eagle | Hand Cannon Patterns
As an acid-patina finish, the marbleized staining falls a little differently on every copy, so no two are laid out exactly alike. There's no famous seed or "blue gem" chase attached to it, though — the appeal is the patina itself, and float is what mainly separates one copy from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is no StatTrak version of the Hand Cannon: StatTrak weapons come only from weapon cases, and this finish was never a case drop. A Souvenir version does exist, produced from Cobblestone Souvenir packages — the first of them handed out at ESL One Cologne 2014 — and it can carry tournament stickers and gold player and team autographs, which makes desirable Souvenir copies scarcer and pricier than the standard skin.
Desert Eagle | Hand Cannon Price
Factory New sits at the top of the finish's price ladder as the highest grade available — a clear step above Minimal Wear, and firmly in high-end, grail-tier territory for a Desert Eagle. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Factory New worth the premium here?
If the color is what you're after, yes. On a patina finish the surface tone is the entire point, and Factory New shows the blue at its deepest with the cleanest brass edges. That said, Minimal Wear looks very close for less, so pay up only if you want the top grade on the shelf.
Why is the Hand Cannon so expensive?
It's a Souvenir-only Desert Eagle from an early collection with a fixed, dwindling supply, and the Deagle is one of the most-used pistols in the game. Add a striking patina finish and that combination pushes it into high-end, grail-tier pricing well above most pistol skins.
Which gloves go with the Hand Cannon?
Its marbleized blue-and-brass palette suits a cool-toned loadout, so blue or slate gloves lock in with the patina, while tan or brown leather wraps echo the brass and the gray leather grip. Either direction keeps the antique-artillery vibe intact.
