Desert Eagle | Heirloom (Battle-Scarred)
The Desert Eagle | Heirloom (Battle-Scarred) is a Restricted pistol skin showing its engraved scroll pattern under the heaviest patina of the range. It's the cheapest way into this antique-styled Deagle finish, trading surface tone for the lowest entry price.
Design
Heirloom keeps things classic: a scroll pattern hand-engraved and inlaid across the slide, finished in a subdued patina of gold and silver metal tones rather than bright color. Valve designed it to look like a treasured, hand-worked pistol passed down through the years — old-world gunsmithing that suits the "Heirloom" name.
Desert Eagle | Heirloom (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Across its grades the finish spans float 0.00–0.80, and Battle-Scarred covers the top of that band. Here the entire surface is heavily darkened and desaturated, with the original gold and black tones deeply muted by the patina, though the scroll relief stays faintly visible. Because the skin caps at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, even its roughest copies never hit the most extreme end of the wear scale — the same cap noted on the Well-Worn grade just below.
Desert Eagle | Heirloom Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier. It sits in the middle of the standard weapon grades, directly above Mil-Spec blue and below Classified pink, which makes it an uncommon grade to unbox.
Desert Eagle | Heirloom Case and Collection
Part of The Arms Deal 3 Collection, the Heirloom drops from the CS:GO Weapon Case 3, released together with the "Introducing the CZ75-Auto" update in February 2014. As a group the Restricted tier pulls around 15.98% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), and because the case has left the active drop pool, supply is fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies now come from.
Desert Eagle | Heirloom Patterns
Since the engraved scrollwork sits the same way on every Heirloom, the finish has no random pattern variation — no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. The only things that distinguish copies are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You'll also find a StatTrak™ Heirloom, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and more expensive than the standard drop from the CS:GO Weapon Case 3, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this skin's case never featured as one.
Desert Eagle | Heirloom Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the engraved Heirloom design for players who care more about the look than the surface condition. If you want this premium Deagle finish for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Heirloom still recognizable?
Yes. Even with the surface heavily darkened and the gold-and-silver tones deeply muted, the scroll engraving stays faintly visible, so the skin reads as an Heirloom at a glance. Battle-Scarred is about accepting a much aged patina in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the design entirely.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Heirloom hit maximum wear?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme end of the wear scale. The surface still darkens heavily, but the cap keeps the skin a shade more legible than finishes that run all the way to 1.0.
Who is the Battle-Scarred Heirloom for?
Bargain hunters. It's the lowest-cost door into the engraved patina design, ideal for anyone who wants the antique Deagle aesthetic without paying for a higher grade. The heavy weathering even fits the theme, since an aged look is exactly what this skin is going for.
