Desert Eagle | Hypnotic (Minimal Wear)
The Desert Eagle | Hypnotic (Minimal Wear) is a Classified pistol skin, its pearl base sprayed black through a stencil into a hypnotic gray-and-white graphic. Because the finish caps at a very low float, Minimal Wear is the most worn grade it ever reaches — and even here the wear stays subtle.
Design
At its core the finish is a pearl base coat overlaid with black paint, sprayed through a stencil to form a graphic, optical-style pattern in gray and white. Valve designed it, and it ships with a fittingly grim in-game line: "You're not getting sleepy, you're passing out from blood loss."
Desert Eagle | Hypnotic (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Hypnotic is capped at 0.08 — a ceiling so low the skin only ever has two grades, and Minimal Wear (float 0.07–0.08) sits at the worn end of that short scale. Even so, this is nothing like a normal worn grade: the cap means the black stencil and pearl base pick up only the lightest scuffing along the slide, well milder than a full-range skin's Minimal Wear. It's the budget-friendlier of the two grades while looking nearly identical to Factory New.
Desert Eagle | Hypnotic Rarity
Rarity: Classified. That's the pink tier, ranked one step under Covert and second-highest among the standard weapon grades — a genuinely uncommon pull from any case.
Desert Eagle | Hypnotic Case and Collection
This skin is part of The Arms Deal Collection and comes out of the CS:GO Weapon Case, the game's very first case, released alongside the Arms Deal update in August 2013. Across the case the Classified tier pulls at roughly 3.2% (a figure shared among the tier's skins), and with that original case retired from the active drop pool, supply is capped — buyers get most copies on the market rather than by unboxing.
Desert Eagle | Hypnotic Patterns
There's no random pattern roll on Hypnotic — the stencil graphic is placed identically on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth chasing. The only things that set copies apart are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Hypnotic, which adds a confirmed-kill counter and drops from the CS:GO Weapon Case; it's scarcer and more expensive than the plain skin, and its counter is permanent, staying with the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir variant was ever made — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages, and this skin's case never featured as a Major drop.
Desert Eagle | Hypnotic Price
Minimal Wear is the more affordable of the skin's two grades, sitting just below Factory New while keeping nearly the same look thanks to the low float cap. It's a premium Deagle finish that comes in a touch under the top grade — a smart pick if you want the design without paying for flawless condition. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Minimal Wear Hypnotic look worn?
Barely. Because the finish caps at 0.08, even its most worn grade only picks up faint scuffing along the slide edges, and the gray-and-white stencil pattern stays fully readable. To most eyes a Minimal Wear copy is hard to tell apart from Factory New, which makes it a strong value in this finish.
Is Minimal Wear the best value Hypnotic?
For most buyers, yes. It costs less than Factory New but looks almost identical because the skin can never roll dirty, so you're paying a smaller premium for essentially the same appearance. It's the sensible entry point into one of the original weapon case's standout pistols.
How much cleaner is Factory New than Minimal Wear?
Only marginally. With the whole skin capped at 0.08, Factory New (0.00–0.07) and Minimal Wear (0.07–0.08) sit almost on top of each other on the float scale. Factory New has the crispest stencil edges, but the difference is slight — closer than on almost any full-range skin.
