Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon (Battle-Scarred)
The Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon (Battle-Scarred) is a Classified pistol skin with dragons laser-etched into its slide and grip, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into a distinctive Deagle design, trading surface detail for the lowest entry price.
Design
This finish keeps its identity in the artwork: dragons laser-etched across the slide and grip, an intricate, mythical motif rather than a flat printed graphic. Designed by the community artist The Honey Badger, it ships with a fitting in-game line: "I'm a big fan of your work Yukako, we should talk... -Huxley, The Competition".
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred sits at the top of the finish's float range, which runs from 0.00 to 0.76. At this level the slide wears its damage openly — heavy scuffing and paint loss, with the etched dragons dulled where the surface is worn thin. Because the float is capped at 0.76 rather than the full 1.0, though, even Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme end of the wear scale, so the dragon artwork stays legible at its roughest.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Rarity
Rarity: Classified, the pink tier. It sits directly below Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon grades, and it's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Case and Collection
The finish is part of The Wildfire Collection and comes from the Operation Wildfire Case, which released together with Operation Wildfire on February 17, 2016. The Classified tier as a whole drops about 3.2% of the time from the case (that odds figure is shared across the tier), and since the case has left the active drop pool, supply is fixed — most copies are bought on the market rather than unboxed.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Patterns
There's no random pattern variation on this finish — the laser-etched dragons appear the same on every copy, so nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" is worth hunting. Wear and float are the only differences from one copy to the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon is out there too, adding a confirmed-kill counter and sourced from the Operation Wildfire Case; it's a rarer and pricier drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. No Souvenir version exists — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages, and this finish was never part of one.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the dragon design for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want this Deagle for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Kumicho Dragon still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and paint loss, the laser-etched dragons stay identifiable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the design entirely — the artwork still carries the pistol.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Kumicho Dragon look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.76 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear. The slide takes real damage, but the etched dragons remain readable, so the skin holds its look better than many finishes do at this grade.
Is Battle-Scarred worth it for the Kumicho Dragon?
It's the budget play. You get the same distinctive dragon etching for the lowest outlay, at the cost of visible scuffing on the slide. If you want the design cheaply and aren't fussed about surface condition, it's a smart buy; if the fine detail matters, step up a grade or two.
