Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon (Field-Tested)
The Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon (Field-Tested) is a Classified pistol skin with dragons laser-etched onto its slide and grip. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it — a touch of honest wear on a finish that still shows its detail clearly, for well under the higher grades.
Design
At its heart this finish is a set of dragons laser-etched into the slide and grip, a mythical, detail-heavy motif rather than a printed graphic. It began as a community submission from the artist The Honey Badger, whose fine-detail work suits the theme, and it ships with a line of in-game flavor: "I'm a big fan of your work Yukako, we should talk... -Huxley, The Competition".
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
The finish rolls a float between 0.00 and 0.76, and Field-Tested lands in the middle of that band. Here the slide picks up light scratching and the etching softens a little around the edges, but the dragon artwork stays fully readable at a glance. This is the grade most players picture for the skin — the balance point between looks and price.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink grade, ranked just beneath Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one from a case is genuinely uncommon.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Case and Collection
Part of The Wildfire Collection, this finish drops from the Operation Wildfire Case that arrived with Operation Wildfire on February 17, 2016. The Classified tier as a group unboxes around 3.2% of the time (that odds figure is shared across the tier), and with the case no longer in the active drop pool, supply stays fixed — most copies come from the market instead of a case.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Patterns
Because the laser-etched dragons sit the same way on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Wear and float are all that set one copy apart from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon does exist, adding a confirmed-kill counter and sourced from the Operation Wildfire Case; it's a scarcer, more expensive drop than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent — it carries over whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir version was never produced, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and this finish was never in one.
Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping the dragon artwork clearly legible, which is a big part of why it's such a popular pick. It's a premium finish that still won't break the bank. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Kumicho Dragon look worn?
A little. The slide shows light scratching and the etching softens slightly around the edges, but the dragon artwork stays easy to read at normal viewing distance. For most players it looks good in-game while costing noticeably less than the top grades.
Is Field-Tested the best value Kumicho Dragon?
For many buyers, yes. It costs a good deal less than Minimal Wear but still shows the dragon etching clearly, and it's far more common on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper again if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier scuffing.
Is the Kumicho Dragon a good Deagle to buy?
It's a solid pick if you like detailed artwork over flashy color. The laser-etched dragons give it a distinctive, collectible look, and as a Classified from The Wildfire Collection it holds appeal for both players and collectors. Field-Tested keeps the entry cost reasonable.
