Desert Eagle | Meteorite (Field-Tested)
The Desert Eagle | Meteorite (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with a rugged gray metallic body and a crystalline speckled pattern. Field-Tested is the most worn grade this finish reaches, yet a tight float cap keeps it milder than the label suggests — for the lowest entry price.
Design
At heart the finish is a muted gray metallic coat over the Deagle, with a crystallizing mask scattering a fine crystal texture across the slide — a natural, meteor-rock motif dressed up for the battlefield. Valve designed it, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "Everyone wants to make an impact."
Desert Eagle | Meteorite (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested normally means noticeable scuffing, but this finish is float-capped at 0.18, so its worst copies barely cross into the grade. The gray coat shows a little honest wear on the edges while the crystalline speckling holds up regardless, and there's no Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred beneath it — the cap simply stops the skin from getting rougher than this.
Desert Eagle | Meteorite Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier and the entry level of the standard weapon-skin grades. As the most common class to unbox, it keeps this Deagle among the cheaper finishes for the pistol.
Desert Eagle | Meteorite Case and Collection
Part of The Bank Collection, which launched in the April 2014 update, this finish sits in the tier that drops most often. The Mil-Spec grade pulls at roughly 79.92% within the collection (a rate shared across the tier), which is why blue skins like this one are so plentiful and easy to buy on the market.
Desert Eagle | Meteorite Patterns
Since a crystallizing mask generates the look, the crystal speckling sits a little differently on every copy. The differences stay subtle, though, and there's no coveted paint seed or "blue gem" variant to track down — for practical purposes, wear and float are what set copies apart.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak version of this skin — StatTrak only exists where a finish is issued through a case built to support it, which isn't the case here. There's likewise no Souvenir variant, as Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Bank Collection was never a Major drop.
Desert Eagle | Meteorite Price
Field-Tested is the cheapest grade of an already budget finish — the lowest-cost way to run the meteor-gray look on your Deagle. Because the float cap keeps it from looking much rougher than Minimal Wear, it's arguably the best bang for the buck in the range. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Field-Tested Meteorite look?
Less than you'd expect. The 0.18 float cap means copies only just enter the grade, so wear shows as light scuffing on the edges rather than heavy battering. The gray metallic base hides what little there is well, and the crystalline pattern stays fully legible.
Is Field-Tested worth buying over Minimal Wear?
If price is the priority, absolutely. Thanks to the float cap, Field-Tested looks only marginally more worn than Minimal Wear while costing a bit less, and it's the entry point of the range. Buyers who want a spotless surface can step up a grade, but the gap here is small.
Which gloves suit this finish?
Its muted gray, meteor-rock coloring pairs best with a neutral, understated loadout, so gray, black, or silver gloves are the natural match. A wrap with a faint metallic sheen picks up the finish's tone and lets the crystal speckling stand as a quiet accent.
