Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm (Field-Tested)

Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm (Field-Tested)

The Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm (Field-Tested) is an Industrial Grade pistol skin with a stormy-sea hydrographic over a blue metallic base in a vibrant cyan scheme. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it — light honest wear on a dark base that mostly hides it.

Design

The look comes from Valve: a hydrographic of a stormy sea over a blue metallic base coat, all in a bright cyan that gives the Deagle a stormy, in-motion feel instead of a flat graphic. It ships with a line of in-game dialogue — "I don't hate you Sebastien... I pity you."

Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

On the 0.00–0.75 float range, Field-Tested sits in the middle, where scratches begin to show on the slide and barrel. The blue metallic base is dark enough that this reads as light scuffing rather than heavy damage, and the cyan wash holds its color well. This is the grade most players picture when they think of the finish — a solid balance of looks and cost.

Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm Rarity

Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue grade, sitting one step above Consumer and just under Mil-Spec, second from the bottom of the standard weapon tiers. It's a common tier, which is part of what keeps this Deagle affordable.

Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm Case and Collection

This pistol is a member of The Rising Sun Collection, released together with Operation Bloodhound in May 2015. The collection's skins didn't come from a dedicated case; they surfaced through the operation's drop pool, and with Bloodhound over, the market is now where the vast majority of copies come from.

Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm Patterns

No random pattern roll applies here — the stormy-sea hydrographic prints the same on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. The only differences between one Deagle and the next come down to wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's no StatTrak edition of this skin. StatTrak versions are drawn from weapon cases, and this finish isn't a case item, so a counter variant was never issued. A Souvenir edition doesn't exist either — Souvenir weapons are made only through Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Rising Sun Collection was never a Major drop.

Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm Price

Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping most of the cyan intact, which is a big reason it's the most traded version. It's a premium finish among Desert Eagle skins that still won't break the bank. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Midnight Storm look beat up?

Not really. Some scratching appears on the slide and barrel at this grade, but the dark blue metallic base absorbs it, so the pistol still reads well from a normal viewing distance. The cyan stormy-sea pattern keeps its color, so the design's signature look comes through clearly in-game.

Is Field-Tested the best value Midnight Storm?

For most buyers, yes. It's noticeably cheaper than Minimal Wear and Factory New while keeping the cyan pattern legible, and it's the easiest grade to find on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go lower still if you want the cheapest entry and accept heavier scuffing.

Which gloves match the Midnight Storm?

The cyan-over-blue palette calls for a cool-toned loadout, so blue or teal gloves are the natural fit — cyan-accented wraps echo the stormy-sea wash, while navy pairs anchor the metallic base. It slots neatly into a blue-themed loadout alongside other water-toned skins.
