Desert Eagle | Mudder (Factory New)

Desert Eagle | Mudder (Factory New)

The Desert Eagle | Mudder (Factory New) is an Industrial Grade pistol skin wearing a rugged gray, marbleized coat. Factory New is the top grade in its ladder, showing the mottled pattern at its most defined before any scuffing sets in.

Design

Crafted by Valve, the Mudder covers the Desert Eagle in a rugged gray finish painted in a marbleized pattern, the swirls of light and dark tone giving the big pistol an understated, workmanlike look rather than a flashy one. It's a subtle, no-frills design that leans on texture instead of bright graphics.

Desert Eagle | Mudder (Factory New) Float and Wear

The finish spans float 0.06–0.80 across its grades, and Factory New sits right at the bottom of that band. Here the gray marbling reads at full definition, edges included, with none of the paint thinning that shows up in lower conditions. If you want the pattern as legible as this skin gets, this is the grade to pick.

Desert Eagle Mudder Rarity

Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue tier, which sits near the bottom of the standard weapon grades, one step above Consumer. It's a common grade, which keeps the skin approachable.

Desert Eagle Mudder Case and Collection

The Mudder belongs to The Lake Collection, introduced on November 27, 2013 with the "Out with the old, in with the new" update. It isn't unboxed from a weapon case — copies come through Souvenir packages, specifically the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and, later, the EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package.

Desert Eagle Mudder Patterns

The marbleized coat has no famous pattern tiers or paint-seed "blue gems" to chase, so no copy commands a premium purely for its swirl placement. In practice, wear and float are what set one from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's no StatTrak version of this skin. StatTrak finishes are seeded into weapon cases, and the Mudder was never placed in one — it arrived through Souvenir packages instead — so a kill counter was never produced for it. A Souvenir version does exist, though: Souvenir weapons drop only from Major-tournament packages, and this finish was handed out through the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package.

Desert Eagle Mudder Price

Factory New sits at the top of the Mudder's price ladder as the highest grade on offer, a step above Minimal Wear. Even so, the skin lands as an affordable mid-tier Desert Eagle rather than a costly one, so the best grade stays within easy reach. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Factory New worth it over Minimal Wear?

It depends on how picky you are. Factory New shows the marbled gray at its most defined, with sharp edges and no thinning, but the difference over Minimal Wear is subtle on a texture-heavy finish like this. Pay up if you want the best condition on the shelf; otherwise Minimal Wear looks nearly the same for less.

What does the Mudder look like at Factory New?

Muted and detailed. The gray marbleized coat covers the whole pistol in swirls of light and dark, and at this grade every part of that pattern reads clearly, edges included. There's no wear to break it up, so you get the design exactly as Valve painted it.

Which gloves go with the Mudder?

Its neutral gray palette is easy to match, so gray, tan, or muted olive gloves all sit well with it, and black wraps keep the utilitarian mood. Because the finish isn't loud, it slots into most desaturated loadouts without clashing.
